We had an excellent day on this tour. The cultural sites are stunning and we saw loads of elephants on the safari. The tour is flexible and we stopped at a wood carving place which we really enjoyed.
One tip - the lunch was not very nice, as it is not included and it is a long day, I would recommend bringing a packed lunch to eat whilst travelling.

Dinesh was really warm, friendly and flexible. We had an infant baby along with us which required changes in travel plan / adjustments / stops in an unplanned manner. But he was always very accommodating with a smile!! Reasonably priced and great service!! What more can you ask for!!! 😊😊

The tour was excellent! Our tour guide Dinesh showed us everything possible. The car was very nice, and also the safari jeep was great and we saw a lot of elephants :)

This tour is great if you want to see a lot in one day. It’s long but worth it. We had a quick tour of a Hindu temple, a great Spice Garden tour, then on to Dambulla, Sigirya, lunch (which was excellent) and finally a several hour safari where we saw lots of elephants. Dinesh was on time, a good driver, flexible, accommodating and all the parts of the tour went great.
One tip would be to let Dinesh know what you are interested in or not as we skipped a handicraft place as we wanted more time in the other places. He was very flexible.
Another tip would be that you have the option to walk up Sigirya (3 hrs) or just have a tour of the grounds getting some background (around an hour). This is what we did and it was plenty especially given the heat and the large cues of people climbing.
In summary we enjoyed our day and would recommend Dinesh’s company and this tour!

Wir wurden um 7 Uhr morgens pünktlich abgeholt und machten als erstes einen kurzen Stopp bei einem hinduistischen Tempel. Als nächstes hielten wir bei einem ayurvedischen Kräutergarten an, wo uns von einem deutschsprachigen Guide eine sehr ausführliche Führung geboten wurde. Danach ging es nach Dambulla, wo wir den Royal Cave Temple besichtigen konnten und anschließend weiter nach Sigiriya zum Lion Rock. Dort war Saison-bedingt extrem viel los, aber unser Guide kannte ein paar Abkürzungen um die meisten Touristenschlangen zu umgehen und obwohl wir letztendlich auf den Aufstieg nach ganz oben verzichteten, hatten wir schon auf halber Höhe eine atemberaubende Sicht. Für das Mittagessen wurden wir in ein nettes Restaurant gebracht, wo es ziemlich günstig ein leckeres Buffet gab. Als letztes gab es dann die Safaritour in einem Jeep durch den Minneriya National Park, wo wir nicht nur die Elephanten, sondern auch eine unglaublich schöne Landschaft bei untergehender Sonne bewundern konnten.
Dinesh, unser Guide und Fahrer war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und bot uns auf spontaner Nachfrage hin eine Führung nach Nuwara Eliya am Folgetag und ein preisgünstiges Angebot für die Fahrt von Kandy nach Galle an unserem Abreisetag an. Wir würden Dinesh jeder Zeit wieder buchen und empfehlen ihn wärmstens weiter.

Ça a été une journée formidable, tout c’est passé comme prévu c’était impeccable !
Dinesh est vraiment très sympathique, nous avons visité 2 temples avec lui et un marché aux épices où il les fabrique eux mêmes avec une personne qui parlait vraiment bien français.
La visite de Sigiriya était très impressionnante avec encore un guide qui parlait français. C’était tout simplement parfait !!
L’après midi on a visité le safari, la pluie était au rendez-vous mais Dinesh et son collègue ont tout fait pour que nous puissions quand même voir les éléphants, un beau geste.
Malgré les 3 heures de routes pour le retour Dinesh n’a pas hésité une seule seconde pour nous emmener dans un super restaurant (non inclus), et ça nous a fait très plaisir. Retour vers 9h pm sans encombre
Des images pleins les yeux immortalisées par de nombreuses photo, une sensation de bien-être incomparable, on recommande à tous le monde cet excursion hors du commun ❤️

This was one of the best days Ive had on my trip to Sri Lanka! It's jammed packed full of activities and you'll feel like you spent 3 days doing it all. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get the most out of their Safari day. We saw beautiful wild animals, historical sites and mind blowing temples.
