I would like to acknowledge the guide for my full day tour that was given on June 18th, 2024. He is an incredible tour guide. His level of knowledge, patience, professionalism, and dedication to his work is outstanding. He created a unique experience one of which I will never forget. He was responsive and timely with communication and provided lovely recommendations. Thank you for having him as a part of your team. He was amazing!

The guy that picked me up at the hotel did not speak english, but we managed. Had to cross the border alone, english speaking guide had a sign with my name on, so it was easy to find him on the other side. Good and friendly guide, interesting history, good lunch (was not included in the price). It is a long drive.

I am happy and delighted to have Farhodbek as my guide in Khujand. He speak English fluently and it‘s nice to hear him talking about his own hometown. Learnt many things from this tour. He is also extremely helpful as I don‘t have any tajik som with me.
Totally recommend this tour. The Uzbek driver Daniel & Tajik driver Tahir were also polite.

We’re glad we did this trip instead of staying in Tashkent as Khujand was a really nice city, but logistics and communication could’ve been better. Our driver in Uzbekistan didn’t speak English, so he had to call someone to explain to us what would be happening for the day. Might’ve been easier if that info were emailed to us in advance. The guide in Tajikistan spoke English pretty well but didn’t really understand it when we spoke, so he couldn’t answer any of our questions. 3 sites in Khujand ended up being closed the day we were there (it was a Monday), which I feel like a tour company should’ve known. But to the guide’s credit, he found other places in the city to show us instead - appreciate his resourcefulness. There was time for lunch but we weren’t hungry…he still took us to a restaurant and we sat there while he ate a huge meal. We hadn’t been given the opportunity to change money, so we wouldn’t have been able to eat even if we’d wanted to. He felt like he was very knowledgeable about the city but not about tourists’ wants and needs.

If you’re fascinated about the old world and Silk Road like I am, a trip to Khujand, Tajikistan is a must! Tajikistan has a rich Persian history, and an affinity to Alexander the Great, which is a whole new flavor to the other stops on the Silk Road in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan… It’s such an easy day trip from Tashkent and I had a great time!
It’s exotic to cross the border, and then a short drive away see the town that has the ancient fortress and a cool city that enjoys seeing tourists. Houmoun my guide couldn’t have been better with the ability to explain all the sites and guide me to some tasty treats along the way. Major thumbs up!

We had a very interesting day visiting Khujand. We were picked up by taxi from our Tashkent hotel and taken to the border. Crossed the border on foot (an interesting experience in itself!) and our wonderful guide Hummoyun met is us with another driver on the Tajik side. We couldn’t have hoped for a better guide: already during our one-hour drive to Khujand, Hummoyun told us a lot about Tajikistan, the history and the context/role Khujand played in the past and today. He spoke excellent English and was very kind and competent. Even though it was only a day trip my son and I got a feeling for Khujand and its sights, and we learnt a lot. In short: an excellent experience!

Amazing tour with an excellent guide. Fayzullo organised it very well. The guide has very sound knowledge of Central Asia and explained everything in detail. The trip shall last slightly longer so to also walk in the city. Recommended 100%

Had a great experience visiting Khujand for one day from Tashkent. All was organized smoothly by Fayzullo, we have a taxi driver from Tashkent taking us to the border and our guide was expecting us with another driver on the other side. Our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and gave us a lot of information even on the way to Khujand. He was flexible, adaptable and did not hesitate to take us to other places as well or stop on the route for a pictures. We saw more then expected, got the chance to learn about the history and importance of the city and explored a lot of architectural monuments, the Bazaar, the main museum and even road mosaics signs.

Great experience with a great guide. Fayzullo organized a fantastic trip. He knows about the history of the countries of Central Asia and he is always available for any request. I couldn´t have a better trip.
