No experience. I was not able to enter the palace. I did not receive my money . Next day was Monday off and on Tuesday i had to fly back home

Hello,
We're so sorry to hear that you were not able to join our tour. Unfortunately, as we are in the Low Season sometimes we may have cancellations when there is not enough number of guests to run the tour. Or we ask our guests to change the tour to another one that runs on the same date.
We do not make refund but Viator does. And we are sure they did. It may take a while though. Please check with them and kindly let us know if you didn't receive it.

A must visit in istanbul. the palace is beautiful.
tour picked me up from hotel.
after the palace we also went to highest point on asia side.

The bus picked me up from the hotel and I enjoyed a cup of sahlep while we waited for the rest of the group. The palace and grounds were very pretty and it was interesting to listen to the commentary. I recommend this tour if you have time while staying in Istanbul.

Una gran sorpresa en Estambul, uno de los palacios más lujosos de Turquía, a pesar de tener ascendencia Europea (me recuerda a Versalles), merece la pena visitarlo.

A very large place, please come in the morning and a comfortable shoe. Each building is very beautiful with very delicate carvings. Each corner is very beautiful in the photo. Added to the very peaceful sea view. For me Good location

I bought this tour from Istanbul Welcome Card (IWC) for a very affordable price, allowing me fast track entry into the grounds.
After my arrival from Sultanahmet to the terminal stop at Kabataş, it was a mere 15mins walk to the entrance of the Palace. There was heavy security but I didn't know if this was normal or there was some other event happening around the area that morning.
There was a long queue to get through security screening but I had caught sight of my guide from IWC who was waiting at the iconic Clock Tower who urged me to move quickly through to the front of the queue.
Once inside those of us who were on the same tour were led to the Palace interior with advice and information from our guide. Although we were allowed audio guides, none of us felt we needed any as we wanted to see the exhibits and move through the viewing areas at our own leisurely pace.
Even through the throngs of other tour groups, we managed to see the opulence of the collections of the past Sultans and how they lived - in Ottoman traditions laced with European aesthetics especially in the beauty of the interior decor. It was like a step back into the Renaissance era. It was exotic.
Photography is prohibited inside but we were free to enjoy the gardens and the secured waterfront areas with lovely photographic sites. I spent a good two hours here, taking in the beauty and tranquillity. Of course, like everyone else, I took the liberty of capturing memorable shots to bring home.
A must see when in Istanbul!
