We walked w. Alina down streets and in shops that we would not have known or found on our own. We were able to shop w. Alina translating for us. I never would never have attempted to go into a local jewelry store on my own but w. Alina there , I bought 3 necklaces. Alina made sure that I was buying good quality.

Arriving into Istanbul before my tour, 2 of us signed up for a walking tour with a local. We decided on Hatice. We were a few minutes late but Hatice was waiting for us. We customized our itinerary and Hatice was very flexible with what we wanted to see. Her knowledge and history of the city is incredible. At the end of our tour we wanted to go to an hammam and located one minutes from our hotel and she made reservations for us. We have recommended her to our travel mates on our tour. We are glad and very happy to have chosen Hatice to be our local guide.

We enjoyed 2 visits with Benoit, walking 65 km in 2.5 days across the European side of Istanbul.
We visited not only the traditional tourist sites, but Benoit also took us to many more areas where local people live and go out at night. Benoit is very knowledgable about history and religions and he explained in details all there is to know about the monuments we visited i.e. mosques, churches, underground water tanks, parks Benoit is also a food expert and he showed us his favorite cafes and restaurants across the city where the best local dishes and beverages can be found, sometime off tourist tracks. We had breakfast, lunches and drinks is some of these places.
Benoit is very pleasant, talkative, dynamic, adventurous and in great physical shape! He knows the city inside out and happily shares his knowledge with his guests.

We met Diana on time in a clearly designated place as described by her and this always makes for a good start. Diana was knowledgeable, responsive and able to pace our tour to match what was interesting to us. Diana was engaging, and very able to listen and share ideas and information. We were able to go to some places we would never have found and see some very high quality objects and foods. It is not always so easy to feel comfortable in a new city with a new person, Diana made us comfortable from the very start. A really beaut experience.
(Our trip was actually in July 2019 but TA won't accept that date now. I have said "Yes" to the sanitiser questions because I'm sure Diana would now be complying with all such precautions).

Aysegul was the perfect host for our evening tour.we were not looking for a party time but she showed us around places we would never have found as well as trying different local street food.would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Istanbul.

I had an amazing time with Aysegul she was a good laugh and very knowledgeable about Istanbul. Got to try local food that was very nice, I would definitely recommended doing this tour with Aysegul

Oguz was extremely nice, super knowledgeable and very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thank you. We had fantastic 4 hours tour with him which flew by so quickly we didn’t even have time to get tired. We saw everything we wanted. Oguz made us fall in love with Istanbul and this makes him a great guide!

Oguz is a very kind person and a knowledgeable guide. He also gave us great exercise: we managed to complete the entire tour, which means visiting the highlights of historic European, new European and Asian part of Istanbul. Quite a walk but definitely worth the while.

Mine met us at 9AM and kept us on a schedule right up to 5:30. What a knowledge and enthusiasm she has for Istanbul and its long history! Her love for architecture ensured complete descriptions of all aspects of the mosques, gardens, palaces and the hippodrome! Wonderful tour! We talked about everything we’d seen the rest of the night. Tekular, Mine! (Probably spelt that wrong.)
