Masada and the Dead Sea were both amazing. We booked the small group tour but it was very expensive. We were shuttled between drivers a couple of times because guests came from Tele Aviv and Jerusalem and had to change buses for return. Next time I would probably take two different much cheaper half day tours.

This was two languages, meaning there were 12 Spanish speakers and us. The guide had to repeat everything in two languages and we couldn’t communicate with most of the group or hear their questions. Not ideal. The guide was knowledgeable, but it just didn’t feel the emotional experience. The Dead Sea experience was great. Kind of unexpected that we had to sit through a sales presentation from a local cosmetic company who made products from Dead Sea, but we enjoyed .it anyway. The lunch stop was also disappointing. .
Finally, if we hadn’t called, we would not have been at the right pickup spot. Guess we won’t use these again.

Had a great trip with our guide Jerry. Masada was a very interesting place to visit. The views were amazing. And we really enjoyed our swim in The Dead Sea. It was really nice to be with our small group instead of the large buses that were there.

We visited Matsada and were lucky enough to meet Meni Tzabari, a jovial and knowledgeable guide who tells the history of the place with passion and enthusiasm. If you have the possibility to choose, we recommend asking for Meni, he will involve you during the visit, pushing you to think and observe what surrounds you.

Minivan was packed to capacity. Guide did not have our names on list but after a call, allowed us to squeeze in van. My wife and I were separated during all travel. Won't ever book again due to the discomfort. Guide was terrific and we tipped generously $40 because without him, we never would have been able to join tour. Poor communication and over booking. Buyer beware.

Mini bus pour notre mini groupe, rdv à 5 minutes de notre hôtel sous une belle pluie.
Traversée du désert avec plein d'explications, arrêt minutes pour des cosmétiques. Site de Massada, grandiose. Téléphérique inclus dans le voyage. Déjeuner dans un resto que de touristes, pour une fois... Mer morte avec un beau complexe pour se changer, se baigner, se doucher.
Une magnifique journée, chère mais géniale.

I bought the 11 day Israel Jewish Heritage tour from IBMT Tour group but was told that all the tours go through Rent a Guide in Israel.
The tour absolutely exceeded my expectations and that is because of our guide Yair Zisman. Yair taught us about everything in Israel from the vegetation to the animals to the politics to religion to spirituality to history, etc. etc. I can NOT say enough good things about him.
He was kind, patient, super smart and extremely knowledgeable about every site and was able to answer every single question we had. If you are taking a tour in Israel and do not get to go with Yair, you would definitely be missing out.

Masada was excellent. For our once in a lifetime trip to the Dead Sea, our guide took us to the worst part of the Dead Sea where swimming was dangerous and almost impossible. My partner scratched his leg on the rocks as he slipped on the clay trying to get out of the water, because the WAVE hit him in the eye. Dead Sea water is so salty and concentrated that you need to avoid your eyes at all times!!! This is hard when there are waves breaking! There are other still water areas of the Dead Sea and I found out that our guide was in a hurry to get home so took us to the crappiest location. Wouldnt advise this company for this tour at all.

I loved the convenience of a small guided tour and not having to drive. Yossi, our tour guide was enthusiastic and entertaining. Not only did he convey the history and significance of these areas, but also talked about the culture and challenges of modern day Israel.
Masada in July is quite hot and dry. The tram ride was included. We saw the highlights in 1.5 hours, although it might have been fun to explore a bit more. I felt a bit rushed at the 1.5 hour dead sea stop, which included time for a cafeteria style lunch.
