Amazing tour guides - stress free tours

What an incredible company - I highly recommend booking with Bein Harim! Fantastic prices, flawless pick up and drop off and very high quality guides. Such incredible places too!

We hadn’t heard of Ben Harim before booking our trip to Israel but after reading the Trip Advisor reviews decided to give it a shot and they exceeded all our expectations.

We did the Caesarea, Acre and Rosh Hanikra tour with Eitan as the tour guide on the 13th Sept followed by the 2 day tour to Bethelem and Jericho with Yoav (apologies if I’ve spelt the name wrong) followed by Jerusalem with Dorit (again apologies I might have spelt it wrong!)

All three guides were exceptional, very knowledgeable and all did a fantastic job at keeping everyone together and informed especially in some of the busier areas. The buses were always on time to pick us up from our hotels, and even when we had a change in hotel at the end of our 2 day tour, Bein Harim dropped us off at the new hotel with no notice.

I’m very impressed with the quality and price of these tours, we did a lot of research before booking these and you won’t find much better! Thank you for making our holiday in Israel stress free and enjoyable.

Both tours on both days were excellent, the tour guides were passionate, knowledgable, friendly and funny. I would have liked more information prior to departure. I had to call to know where and what time we were being picked up. This was obviously a process the guides and operator were used to conducting but it was new for us and we felt under informed. We had the order of the tours changed and were dressed for Jerusalem, Long trousers and covered shoulders when we were going to Masada and Dead Sea, which was shorts T-shirts and swimming costume, we had to make a quick change at the coffee stop. The hotel in Jerusalem was very average, we were given a room above a youth hostel, which was noisy most of the night. I would recommend the tour but would suggest more communication to the customer and asking for a preference on room allocation at the hotel for the tour customers.

Dear Jane thanks for sharing satisfaction of the tours and our professional guides that you had for both days.We are always glad to read when travelers share their positive accounts of our tours for others on this platform to read. The change of the days for the tours without prior notice is understandably not acceptable.Will take this matter with the necessary seriousness and relay to operations team ,the importance of prior notice should changes occur. Regarding the hotel in Jerusalem, as it is an unbeatable central downtown walk everywhere location, but this is an issue recently, as there is a new pub! on this street, closeby that is the the source of the noise you heard. We have taken it up with the hotel , and will be doing a reconsideration regarding our use of it for this package. As you can well understand , for certain travelers this perfect walking distance location would be be preferable for their budget.

Best tour experience so far.

To start of, I would like to thank Yoav Malachi (tour guide) for this excellent experience. The tour spots where great, the explanation on the landscape, history and modern topics related to the area was superb. The experience was great and made even better as we made friends on the way.

I would like to say a genuine thank you as well to the company as I forgot my bag on the their last shuttle with important items on it. It was brought back to me on the second day without hiccups so I'm quite thankful for this!

Overall, our experience in Israel was quite positive and a big factor to this was due to our tour guide Yoav.

Great Way to see Israel Highlights

My sister and I went on this tour together, and it was the perfect way to see the highlights of Israel! Our itinerary was flipped, so we did the day 2 activates on day 1 and vice versa. This turned out to be fantastic, as we were able to avoid the crowds in all the locations we visited. We had a different tour guide each day, and both were very good. Our Jerusalem guide, Omri, especially was wonderful. He knew the best routes to avoid the crowds, and was able to get us to all the sightseeing destinations with minimal wait times. He was also very kind, and always made sure no one was left behind. This was our first time in Israel, so we didn't know what to expect or what to do. This tour was great because we saw things we wouldn't have known to do on our own, such as Masada. I highly recommend this tour!

Yoav our tour guide made this our best day in Israel

Tour guides can often be a bit hit or miss but Yoav was a a big hit for us. Before the tour started, his colleague joined us on the bus and said 'you guys are lucky you have got the most devoted, intelligent and funny guides' she wasn't wrong. Yoav is also humble and thoughtful, making a real effort to make sure everyone is happy and hasn't forgotten anything along the way. He does this without being mumsy either so it never gets annoying. The tour took us to Jerusalem from afar, then up close to every quarter and then finally to the Dead Sea. The passion with which Yoav describes Israel is akin to someone seeing it the first time. Sometimes you meet people with a special energy about them and natural charisma. Get ready to laugh and enjoy your holy tour!

Masada and the Dead Sea with Yoav Malachi

There's a reason so many of the reviews for Bein Harim and Yoav are very good. This company, and Yoav in particular, make great efforts to provide a pleasant tour. They are exceptional at what they do.

Yoav was very entertaining and made our tour fun. He added many references to Western culture to keep us laughing. He kept the group moving at a good pace, watched out for us at every turn, and had a great sense of humor. If you take a tour with Yoav wanting to have a fun time, your day will be a blast.

Jerusalem in 2 days
We did the "In the footsteps of Jesus" with Amir, the best tour guide I've ever seen in my life. Amir (Call Or) is very knowledgeable about the tour and provided a much needed explanation and experience of the country and significance of the tour. I was amazingly surprised by his knowledge of the importance of the Christian tour sites and the connections he made to the Jewish culture. The second tour was of the old town in Jerusalem and Bethlehem - wonderful trips despite the numerous tourists and scorching heat. The pickups and dropoff were easy, as well as the connections to our final tours. Lunch and souvenir shopping were well organized.

The sites we toured we great, the accommodations and details by the company not so much!
2017年11月
From the moment we were picked up there was a problem. We were supposed to tour Jerusalem and Bethlehem the first day and Masada and the Dead Sea the second. We were told that the days had been switched. This was problematic because we had dressed according to where we were supposed to go, It is much warmer at the Dead Sea and Masada and we did not have on the correct clothing. I had to go into my suitcase and change my clothes in a bathroom at our pick up point. This obviously was not how I wanted my day to start at 7:15 am. Once we got on the bus we were transported to another meeting point where we changed buses again. We then drove to Jerusalem where we changed buses for a third time. We did not arrive to our first destination, the factory shop of Ahava until approximately 11:20, there was a lot of wasted time, not travel time. We then toured Masada and at about 3:00 pm arrived at the Dead Sea. Masada and the Dead Sea were great, the tour guide was mediocre. We then traveled back to Jerusalem (leaving the Dead Sea around 5:15), then having to make a stop for the bus driver to get gas for the bus (which also seemed strange since he had 2 hours while we were all at the Dead Sea to do this). When we arrived back to Jerusalem we were dropped off at the Shani Hotel with 5 other people. When we went to check in we were told that the hotel was over booked and therefore they were taking us to another hotel down the road. We were brought to the Jerusalem Tower Hotel. We checked in to this hotel and were horrified with the accommodations. The room was filthy, the bathroom was dirty the chair had stains on it, the telephone was chipped and broken and the bed was all coils, equivalent to sleeping on rocks. We called the representative at Bein Harim to see what they could do about this problem. We were particularly upset because prior to the trip I inquired about the accommodations, requesting at least a 4 star hotel and informing the company that I would pay for better accommodations if need be. When I was told the hotel was going to be the Shani Hotel I researched it and saw that it had good reviews and was in fact a 4 star hotel. So we were satisfied with this, until we were switched to the Jerusalem Tower Hotel. The representative from Bein Harim was rude, disrespectful and basically told us too bad, there is nothing they can do. We spent an incredibly uncomfortable night at the Jerusalem Hotel. The next morning we were supposed to be picked up at 8:30, we did not get picked up until 9:20 and then had to drive to a meeting spot and again change buses before our tour actually began. The tour of Jerusalem and Bethlehem was excellent and our tour guide that day was very good!
