The Dead Sea shore, is actaully one of the better ones available to swim at, !(other than private hotel shores 60km south) The facilities at this shoreside are newly renovated, it does cater daily yearly long for large volumes of travelers(no excuse but just the plain truth) But as your mention of the greater story,.. of the evaporation and sea shrinking. is an ecological tragedy of a national treasure and needing serious attention. We are happy that you also posted this kind of issue , for others to adress when visiting the region.

We are happy to read it was a memorable tour experience for you. We do stop at the Ahava factory, world renouned for its products ,but also as a bathroom stop having coming form Tel Aviv. The swim allocation time visit at the Dead Sea is normally 1.5 hrs. Come back soon ,there is lots more to see.
