The visit to Ajlun,Irbid and Amman is for visiting mother's family .She came from Ajlun in early 1970s to Beirut to study at AUB . Well days roll and she met father, a Professor at AUB too so its written. Mother's sisters and brothers were between Ajlun,Irbid and Amman . You know Amman has so many alleys named Duwwar 1 to Duwwar ... I forgot the number.Add so many inner Amman alleys. Well I go many summers simply to visit them, August normally along with mother and my sister's family. Since 2014 we had no trips and in 2020 ALL the world stopped in FULL PARALYSIS. I live in Beit Chabab, the Lebanese mountains site, AlMaten district. Beit Chabab and Amman have the same height, 700 meters . Well Beit Chabab is known worldwide for church bells, Lebanese Center for Handicapped-St Antoine Of Padoue monastery .I live in low alley of the village. Search for my village; You'll love its views.

Recently, my husband and I visited Amman, Jordan where we were very much looking forward to visiting as many tourist sites as possible, especially the Biblicals. Fortunately, we had the pleasure of being partnered with a local driver who was quite knowledgeable on the various sites. He is none other than Ibrahim, a most honest, reputable, reliable, kind, and patient Jordanian gentleman. He also speaks English fairly well and maintains a quiet, clean, modern vehicle. I highly recommend Ibrahim to anyone who wants have an enjoyable experience while visiting Amman, Jordan. Our 8 day designed tour of Jordon was amazing.
Starting in Amman and ending in Amman we enjoyed the diverse scenery of the country.

We did an amazing tour, expertly put together by Jordan Direct. We did a comprehensive tour covering Amman, Jerash, Mataba, Mt Nebo, Baptism site, Dead Sea, Dana, Petra and Aqaba. Expert professional driver and guide Esam. All accommodation was excellent. Everything from been met at the airport, to travelling with the driver and guides was first class. We had a most memorable experience. Highly recommend.

Jordan is safe with nice and warm hospitality from Jordanians. Attractions are magnificent eg. Petra, Wadi Rum dessert, Jerash etc. We chose a private group tour arranged by ‘Jordan Direct Tour’ which we were happy with their service and quality of hotels and facilities. The assigned driver Haytham was a very nice guy, polite and helpful. Come enjoy Jordan and support local people and business. It’s very safe there. Trip during 21-27 December 2023.

The driver is very knowledgeable and adapt to the itinerary based on the weather condition and timing to get the best condition for visiting various tourist spots, places for meals and shopping for olive oil and sweets. Very happy with the service.

The whole trip was out standing
We were in very good hand with our private driver Sufian Khalil and the tour coordinator Nairooz Ashour really came up with a nice good paced and diversified program to see the best this beautiful country has to offer.
It is always the people who make the difference and create magic and they are the true Ambassadors to Jordan.
We have experienced the best of it, from the ancient cities to the biblical places, stunning sceneries, amazing deserts, beautiful sea resorts to bustling cities, new and old, and great markets and night souks
The food was always very good and Amman had some really outstanding restaurants. The people are courteous, patience and friendly.
The hotels and resorts we rested were of world class and I can only recommend Jordan Select Tour for this wonderful trip . thank you ,thank you

Jordan Tours is a wonderful company and they provided us with top notch, professional service. They were honest, upfront in telling us what to expect and they more than delivered on every promise they made. They were fairly priced and they were reasonable as to when they asked for payment. Ours was a private one week tour with a driver and local guides. We visited Amman and Jerash in the north and Petra, Mt. Nebo, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea in the south. I HIGHLY recommend this company. The trip could not have been better and it started with your the consultant's kind and professional communications with us. She was always quick to respond and she always answered all of our questions and inspired confidence that we could count on Jordan Torus to provide an excellent trip and we were not disappointed. She suggested a perfect one week itinerary and where we had questions or concerns she was happy to discuss any modifications. When we arrived at the airport in Amman, we were quickly met by their representative and whisked through the entry process and taken directly to our waiting driver. This gentleman, Esam, was our dirver for the week and he truly "made" our trip. His English was perfect, he was kind, professional and yet friendly and entertaining with a wealth of knowledge about the country that he freely shared. When we stopped at a market or store, he acted as our interpreter and he showed us where to go everyday and introduced us to whatever local guides we had booked. He was a very safe driver and the minivan we rode in was new and in good working order. Again, Esam made our trip and it could not have been better. I also want to comment on the high quality of our accommodations. Each hotel was more magnificent than the next and were high 4 or 5 star variety and were always in the best of locations. Jordan Tours put together a 5 star trip and they acted with professionalism and integrity and we could not recommend them more.

We booked a private tour, which included reception at the airport, visa services and introduction to our driver, who stayed with us on the entire trip. Our driver was fantastic and knew all about the history and the sites we were visiting, and he could tell us about modern Jordan too. We visited Amman with all its historic sites and also had a walk through the city to get a feel of modern Jordan. We drove to Jerash and saw the old Roman sites. Both in Amman and Jerash a professional guide showed us around and gave specific information about the sights.
We then drove to Petra, our main target for the trip, and on the way we stopped at several interesting sites such as Madera with its mosaics, Mount Nebo, Kerak and Wadi al Mujib - the Grand Canyon of Jordan.
In Petra, we had a private guide take us through the site, or the most visited parts of Petra. It is huge, rough terrain and you want to climb into the hills to see more closely what they were able to construct so long ago. We spent 2 days there and could have spent much more. It was definitely worth the trip even though it was crowded.
W ended our trip at the Dead Sea, which is very interesting in itself.
We were extremely happy with the arrangements, the service we got everywhere and the knowledge of our guides and our driver.
The fantastic service started already in planning the trip. Jordan Direct Tours gave us great suggestions and were flexible to include our wishes. Thank You.

Jordan Direct (same firm as Jordan Select) arranged a fantastic experience for us. From the meet and greet at the airport that whisked us through immigration and security, to a personal driver that stayed with us on the whole trip. All arrangements were made as planned with top quality hotels. Our 11 day trip started in Amman, with visits to the Citadel and historic downtown sites, including the car museum, street markets and ampitheatre. The next day we went to Jerash and Ajloun. Then to Mt. Nebo and Madaba as we headed south to Petra. 2 days there, then into Wadi Rum for the night. Then to Aqaba for 2 nights where we snorkeled in the Red Sea. Then to the Dead Sea for a few nights, before a last night in Amman pre-flight home. Having a private driver, with guides at various sites, was far preferable to the tour groups we saw everywhere as we could come and go when ready and adjust our itinerary as needed. The accomodations Jordan Direct (contact Miss Shireen Salem) made for us were excellent. The driver/guide, Ahmed, was fantastic. We really enjoyed Aqaba - the hotel Al Manara was fabulous. Petra met expectations - and the 2 day stay there allowed us to really explore it. The night in the desert at the bedouin camp Palmera in a domed observation 'tent' was also a highlight. Jordan is an easier country to travel in than Egypt. Very safe, friendly people, clean and organized. Any western traveller will feel very comfortable here.
