Great experience in Jordan

Very well run tour in an amazing location. We arranged a private tour. The driver / guide, Ahmed, was an excellent knowledgeable guide and introduced us to both the culture and the sights of Jordan. Raisa did a great job organizing the itinerary and adjusting the schedule when our flights changed.

Jordan itself was an amazing country - we found the people welcoming even in a time of unrest in the general region.

Petra was everything we were hoping it would be. The sights were incredible. I would highly recommend hiking down from Little Petra as you will get to the Monastery before the crowds. Plan for a lot of walking / hiking. We put in 20 miles or so, mostly because we took a lot of side hikes to some great views - you could of course do it in much less - but the sights are worth the walk!

An amazing trip from the moment we met our guide and group in the lobby of the hotel until we said goodbye in the same place. The ever smiling Motaz led us well on the trek with lots of breaks and always a stunning location for lunch. Tarrad the donkey was a group favourite, carrying spare water and the kettle for cups of tea made by Atilla, together they took up the rear and made sure we all made it. The camping exceeded our expectations, from the welcome drink and snack to the comfy mattress and blankets in the tent and amazing food. Many Thanks to Eid and his family. Motaz gave us a comprehensive look at Jordans history, the Bedouins, the Nabateans and especially Petra where we would never have gained so much insight without him. Wadi Rum and the Dead sea were magic. A highly recommended trip, Jordan was very safe and friendly on the trek and during an extra week in Amman.

Incredible, Beautiful Jordan

This was the trip of a lifetime. From the time we landed in Jordan we felt safe and welcomed. Our guide, Motaz Zghoul, was incredible. From the moment he met us in Amman he was a gracious and wonderful host full of knowledge of the incredible and rich history of Jordan and its people. His depth of knowledge on the ancient people that have inhabited the different areas of the country was incredible.

We were honored to be cared for by Eid and his family as we traveled through the journey from Dana to Petra. Always smiling and always willing to help.l, Eid and his family made camp each evening a joyous event. The meals they prepared were delicious and the company shared around meals and a campfire were full of laughter and relaxation after a good hike.

Eid’s son Atilla was an incredible guide in our wilderness journey. His accompanying us along the way and continuing to play host on our hikes was amazing. Stories, tea, water, along the way he shared everything he had.

Petra. No book, picture, or documentary can do this wonder of the world justice. Again Motaz shared his wealth of knowledge and we tried to soak in all we could of this incredible piece of history. It’s so much bigger and beautiful than anything I expected.

Our Bedouin camping experiences were luxurious! Gracious hosts, incredible food, and such great comforts.

The Wadi Rum is unlike anything I’ve experienced on this earth before. Rich in colors and unique landscapes, it constantly took my breath away.

The experience at the Dead Sea was magical. Floating/relaxing after the long journey was the perfect way to wrap this up.

This trip was a 10/10. Safe, fun, beautiful, incredible, wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough and hope you are lucky enough to experience Jordan and have Motaz as your guide!!

Wonderful trip thanks to Experience Jordan

A wonderful trip thanks to an excellent team from Experience Jordan and a great group of trekkers. Our guide Motaz not only taught us loads about local history, culture, etc but was also caring and supportive. A brilliant support team led by Eid - great company at the campfire, excellent food cooked by his wife and everything we needed to make a perfect experience and loads of memories. Strongly recommended.

Amazing experience

Hiking through the Dana Biosphere Reserve was a magical experience. Our guide, Motez, provided us with amazing insight into Jordanian life and history. The local guide, Attila and his faithful donkey Tarrod, showed us all about life in this environment. And I can’t say enough about our camp host, Eid and his family. All such warm people.

EJ took care of everything from “door to door” on this trip and I’m recommending it to all of my friend.

Memories and friends I'll keep with me forever

Beautiful, hospitable country and we were impeccably looked after by our guide and now friend Motaz the entire trip! I don't think he ever stopped smiling!! The local Bedouin family who hosted us for 3 nights were a joy to spend time with the camp was comfortable and the food was delicious. Petra and Wadi Rum I knew would be spectacular but I hadn't expected to meet such magical people during the trip! Thanks for the memories and for saving my feet Motaz!

Dana to Petra trek

I had one of the best travel experiences doing the Dana to Petra trek. Having went as a solo traveller I was immediately put at ease by Motaz our guide who looked after me and our group every step of the way. He has an amazing knowledge of the area but not alone this, was always making sure we were ok and reassured us every step of the way. As well as stopping for little extras along the way to inform us even more about the culture and beauty that surrounded us. The scenery was spectacular as well as the fantastic crew of local people at our campsites were unforgettable. It was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever.

An amazing trek beyond all our expectations!

Wow - our Dana to Petra five day hike was a trip of a lifetime! Our guide Mahmoud was fun, warm and very knowledgable about the landscape and history of the area. The hike was the perfect level of challenge, and it was lovely to finish each day with delicious food and a beautiful sunset. It is clear that the company is focused on sustainability and supporting locals. We would highly recommend this tour if you want to experience how beautiful Jordan is - both the landscape and the wonderful people here. It was beyond our expectations.

Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing. Everything was accounted for from the pre-trip communications to the live experience. We were able to just show up and enjoy. Our tour guide, Lama, was amazing. She was deeply knowledgeable and made us feel supported throughout our trek. Can't say enough about how incredible this trip was!
