It's a once in a lifetime opportunity and my son enjoyed every moment .
But as we witnessed the previous driver as well as our son the it's no way near 12 minutes but 5 minutes . As the recorded video we purchased afterwards confirmed .

Website is poorly designed and FAQs are either missing or not well explained (eg storage for things during experience and eligibility requirements). Booking online also had technical issues with site. Both caused a call to customer service people who have different level of knowledge and service ability. One did not know basic info and did not call back as promised. The other was better with inquiry and callbacks but couldn’t resolve the issue with the site. I’m not sure why they don’t have people that do site support work directly with the customer. The refund policy is also questionable. If they cancel, the default is to credit or you can give it to another person, which is not at all useful if you don’t live there. The experience itself was better. People were good at check in. Unfortunately the helmet was not fitted properly and kept moving around during the drive. The driver was good after a bumpy start. He purposefully served right to left several times to give a feel for speed, but it caused my head kept hitting the side bar of the car repeatedly and caused the loose helmet to shift where I couldn’t see half of the circuit. Tried to readjust while still holding to the bar and the driver didn’t notice. Maybe there should be another signal during the drive. Told a few people after the road experience and the third person I told kindly offered another experience to make up for it. He mentioned he runs the place, so I was lucky. I just wonder what the other people working there are empowered to do or if they can tell someone when these things happen. The second road experience was solid and I enjoyed watching others at the track and the great cars. Overall, it ended fine, but not sure all of this was worth the cost and time spent searching for info and pre-booking. Everyone was friendly, but they need to sort out the end-to-end customer experience bugs and learn about great service from Rich.

We are definitely not satisfied. Our experience was great until we wanted our video. They want to get rid of you on the spot and ask you to contact a call center to get your video. This alone stinks. At that time,I already knew that there would never be a video. After 10 emails with the same call center, still no video to be found. The service is not top. It is more for collecting than anything else. So disappointed!

Youngest teen (14) did this as a treat on our last night in Abu Dhabi and loved it. For us watching it is worth mentioning that with the doors open it is VERY hot - perhaps the operators should think of a way to have a viewing area where the a/c can keep the room comfortable as it made it very hard for us to enjoy, but as for the experience itself for the passenger, very good!

Der Yas Marina Circuit liegt im Zentrum von Yas Island in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Yas Mall und der Ferrari World. Von der Corniche aus ist man mit dem Auto in etwa 30 Minuten hier. Rund um den Kurs findet man zahllose kostenlose Parkplätze.
Schon für sich betrachtet ist der Kurs interessant, dass man ihn besuchen sollte. Man sieht so etwas ja nicht so oft. Hier werden aber zusätzlich zahlreiche Attraktionen geboten, die für Freunde des Motorsports lohnenswert sind.
In diesem Jahr waren wir in der Yas Racing School und haben dem Sohn eine Runde im Yas Radical und danach im Drift Taxi spendiert. Was für ein cooles Erlebnis. Adrenalin pur. Wir als Eltern waren genauso begeistert wie das Kind.
Fazit: Purer Motorsport für relativ wenig Geld. Ein Erlebnis, das länger in Erinnerung bleibt.
Schon für sich betrachtet ist der Kurs interessant, dass man ihn besuchen sollte. Man sieht so etwas ja nicht so oft. Hier werden aber zusätzlich zahlreiche Attraktionen geboten, die für Freunde des Motorsports lohnenswert sind.

Geweldig! De rondleiding is heel er mooi om een keer mee te maken. Je krijgt achtergrond informatie over het circuit. We hadden een gids die zelf ook rijd en hij wist heel veel te vertellen en sprak goed Engels. Daarna hadden we gereserveerd voor de SST Experience. Dit hadden we vooraf gereserveerd via Expedia en we kregen de melding dat het op 2 verschillende tijden zou zijn, om 13.00 uur en om 14.30 uur. Ter plaatse regelden ze voor ons dat we toch achter elkaar konden. Ze zijn bezig met een test met filmpjes te maken tijdens de rit. Soms lukt dit en soms niet. Van de 4 personen hadden wij 2 waarvan het filmpje via de mail toegestuurd werd. De rit op het circuit is niet superlang, maar geweldig om een keer mee te maken. Van alles wat aangeboden wordt is dit de meest betaalbare en kinderen vanaf 14 jaar mogen ook deelnemen. Voor onze kinderen een geweldige ervaring! Onze jongste kreeg ook nog een kans om een rondje mee te rijden in een driftauto, wat ook een geweldige ervaring voor hem was!

As we were staying on Yas Island, across from the race track I had a look on Yas Marina Circuit to see if they had any tours that we could do and I came across the different experiences.
I booked the SST passenger experience for my boyfriend as a surprise. It cost £97 and it was amazing.
We were staying on Yas Island but didn’t know where exactly to go so we got a taxi which took us right to the door. I didn’t want to be late but Yas Island have an amazing free bus service that takes you all over and one of the stops is Yas Central where we needed to be.
You enter the Yas Marina Circuit via gate 20, and as you drive through to Yas Circuit I was completely excited (it was for my boyfriend the experience). You see things that you see on the TV and I was completely blown away.
When you arrive, you check in and the person who is doing the experience goes upstairs and put a boiler suit on, of whatever you call them. The cars are waiting depending on the experience that you are doing.
The guys put a helmet on him and strapped him right in the car. They went to the traffic lights which were on red, and when they changed to green, they set off and it was like watching the Grand Prix. Even though I was just spectating it was just amazing.
He was going round the track for about 15 mins. When he got back to where he started he was absolutely speechless. All he could say was that it was unbelievable.
They then email you the video that they take of the experience. It gets sent to you via vemio and it’s great. Only thing is, I don’t know how to save it to my device.
We were only there an hour and a quarter and it was the highlight of my holiday.
