Without a doubt one of our favourite and memorable family vacation.
Upon arrival in Tbilisi Airport, we were warmly welcomed by Io or Yo as I thought, holding a board with my name, me, my husband with 20 months baby girl felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! Yo as a guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had 8 great days in Georgia, which obviously also added up to the experience.
Yo is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). One I truly enjoyed was us walking through Shekvetili Dendrological Park, about an hour drive from Batumi. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet, peaceful and lush green environment.
Yo speaks excellent English! 👌🏼We learnt from him a lot about Georgian history, art, culture and much more, as well as providing tips on other things to see and places to eat in Georgia.
Having to travel by car constantly moving beween cities of Tbilisi, Batumi and Stepantsminda was definitely tiring but we enjoyed every bit all respect for Yo who does a great job there. His patience and effort is truly commendable; a true sample of excellent tour guide!
Our flight back to Dubai was at 11pm in the evening and Yo and his girlfried Tamuna were very kind to invite us over to their family house for lunch. We rested there for a few hours before they drove us to the airport. The house was on a hilltop and had such a breath-taking panoramic view of Tbilisi, definitely a great and unforgettable way to end our stay in Georgia.
Many thanks again and I recommend Yo of Family in Georgia Travels & Tours to everyone most specially for families with kids! You will be on the safe hands 💯 % you won't be disappointed! We promised to go back and bring the rest of our family with us ❤
