Our guide for this private tour was Kim.
He picked us up from our hotel on time in a clean, comfortable car that made us feel like we are K Pop celebrities! Kim was very knowledgeable, funny, helpful, and friendly. He happily took photos of us when we asked him. He encouraged us from the beginning of the tour to ask him as many questions about be it about the tour or Korea.
Kim organized all the entrance tickets for the places we visited and explained the significance of the notable areas in each of the locations.
After introducing and explaining us about the location, Kim allowed us to wander around on our own and enjoy the different sceneries, which we absolutely appreciated.
Our first stop was Le Petite France which was about 1.5 hours drive from Seoul. It was a very charming and delightful mini-France which also has guest houses that can be rented out. This place is also a very popular K drama location. Shows like Secret Garden a My Love from the Stars filmed in this spot.
Next stop was Nami Island-a popular spot made famous by K drama show Winter Sonata. However, it was more than a show location. Looking and walking around the island in winter was truly magical and unforgettable. There were so many things to do and see.
Then it was time for lunch. Kim took us to a Korean BBQ restaurant famous for its chicken. Kim happily took over the BBQ cooking and picking all the side dishes to go best with our meal. It was truly one of the best lunch experience! We were so full at the end.
Last stop was the Garden of Morning Calm. It was a beautiful garden with illumination lights set up. Unfortunately, we did not see the night light festival as we did the day tour. We decided that we had to come back.
Overall, it was truly a memorable day trip. We didn’t know a lot about the places we visited but by the end of the tour, we truly loved and in awe.
Kim gave us a private tour we will always remember for a long time.
Highly recommended to everyone visiting Korea.

Mr Chan Soo Kim is great company - Knowledgeable and very friendly. A fantastic way to see the countryside in winter. Rode in comfort. Great day out with family. Will definitely recommend Mr Kim to everyone.

We enjoyed our tour very much. Our tour guide, Kim Chan-soo was knowledgable and patient with us. Nami island was an absolute gem and this tour is a must if you haven’t been to Nami before.

My family and I had a wonderful day with Alfonse. He spoke excellent English and is very knowledgeable about the sites and other points of interest in S.Korea, and of course K-Drama. He prompted us when there was a nice photo opportunity and offered to take our picture. He is also knowledgeable about current and past world events, including happenings in other Asian countries and USA. During the car ride, we had insightful conversations about differences and similarities between Korean and American societies. Thank you, Alfonse!

Shout out to our tour guide Chance! He was friendly and professional which made the whole tour memorable. We were talking, laughing, and having a great time the entire trip. Chance is very knowledgeable about many things and has many fascinating stories to share. If you plan to go to Nami island, I can't recommend this private tour enough.
Chance picked us up from our hotel at 7:00AM. We arrived to Nami Island early and took one of the first ferries over with all the workers. We had the whole island practically to ourselves to take all the picture we wanted (Chance took fantastic photos at all the hallmark places for us then let us freely roam to ride bicycles, eat snacks, and visit gift shops). As we were leaving around 10:40 it was getting very crowded as about 10 tour buses showed up. If you want photos with nobody else inside, go early!
He took us to an all you can eat specialty Korean BBQ chicken place for lunch that was tasty and perfect if you wanted to experience authentic Korean BBQ.
Last, we went to the Garden of Morning Calm. He took pictures for us at the main attractions then let us freely roam until we were content. We arrived safely back to our hotel around 3PM.
Thank you Chance for all the beautiful photos and trip. We will always remember it!

Excellent experience seeing Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm. Our guide Jimmy Nam was excellent and very informative.

Nice tour guides. Really helped with how to eat lunch. Left us to enjoy the Island and the Garden without deciding what we should do and so we could go at our own pace. Provided water and answered a lot of questions. We had a great time.

We had two days of private tours with Chanso’s tour agency and Chanso is our tour guide on the second day. He is very friendly, punctual and personal. Besides being very accommodating on the day, he gives us an option of cancelling the third day tour because it is forecasted that it will rain on the third day. We don’t even have to ask! He really puts the interest of the customers ahead of profit. Not every guide is the same, certainly not the one we have in Jeju but that is another story. On the two sites we have visited, Nami Island and the Garden of Morning Calm, I am sure both will look amazing if you come at the right time but we were there early March so there wasn’t much to look at. I highly recommend Outdoors Korea and thank you Chanso and Jimmy for taking us around.

Such a fantastic tour especially in winter.
We were very lucky to get snow on this day which made each stop extra magical.
Lost of great photo opportunities.
Our guide Jimmy made it a very relaxing day getting us from place to place and giving us the right amount of time to explore.
Hidden gem was the lunch spot!
