This was a wonderful walking food tour Alex led. It was such an enjoyable and insightful experience, and I truly appreciated how Alex not only shared his extensive knowledge about the local food scene but also provided fascinating historical and cultural context throughout the tour.
Each stop was a highlight, and his recommendations were spot on. I discovered so many new flavors and dishes that I wouldn’t have found on my own. His enthusiasm and passion for the food and the city were contagious, making the tour both fun and educational.
I also really liked walking the streets and discovering new places and streets I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise.
Thank you again for such a memorable experience.

Easy to find guide, great introduction to traditional Korean street food. Guide was knowledgeable. Good tour to do early on - easy to navigate any market now.

We loved our host Chloe! Yummy food and loved the secret dish. Nice to walk through to the different areas and try savoury and sweet food.

Alex was an incredible tour guide who took us around for some amazing food, but also gave us a ton of knowledge about the food, the city, the people, the traditions, etiquette, and history. He’s a really warm and friendly guy who speaks fluent Korean and English. We had a great time with the whole group. Highly recommend to do early on during your stay so you can utilize all the helpful advice and information during your stay.

This was the best food tour I’ve ever been on! Chloe was an amazing guide, thoughtfully checking in with guests to learn about their interests, and sharing tons of information about Korean food and culture throughout the day. All of the food was of course delicious, but it was the time spent with Chloe that made the day so wonderful. It felt like spending and afternoon with a good friend. Thank you Chloe for the very special experience today!

We had a great time on this tour with Chris. It felt like an old friend showing us around Seoul! He was informative, fun, and I highly recommend this tour to any visitors considering this tour. He was even thoughtful enough to provide the group with hand warmers because it was a particularly cold day. 10/10 - thanks so much for such a memorable experience.

Had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Alex! We met at Gwangjang Market and explored so many different food stalls. I learned so much about Korean cuisine and had decent portions of each food. Alex was really engaging and shared interesting background about each of the dishes we tried. After the market, we walked to Ikseon-dong and Insa-dong to try salt bread and enjoy a tea house. I booked the tour as a solo traveler but had a great time with everyone else in the group. Had some great conversations and enjoyed every stop. Would highly recommend and would do it again!

Alex was an excellent guide with good English and explained the various Korean foods/dishes with good insight into ingredients, taste, history etc. Our only complaint was........ there's so much to eat it's hard to enjoy it all!! Not so sure about the berry ice creams either, not traditional Korean perhaps?

Had a great morning with our guide Chloe. Tasty food, interesting conversations, and learned interesting things about Korean culture. Definitely wish I had the tour prior to my business dinners earlier in the week! The market would have been very overwhelming to navigate on my own. Was grateful to have Chloe’s guidance and help.

Chloe was a great tour guide. She provided great explanations about and the significance of the food we were trying and the locations we visited. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely revisit some places while in Seoul. This is a tour not to be missed!

The lowest age is set to 3, but the Q and A mentions infants. Are children under 3 able to come?

I wouldn’t think this tour would appeal to them, and you would have to schlep them along and keep them occupied the whole time. I’d advise against it.
