I booked the private Tour to Andong village so I could learn more about Korean history and cultural background. Even though the drive there from Seoul is long, I never felt bored thanks to Mr. Kim being such an interesting and entertaining person to talk to. Thanks to him I learned even more about South Korea than I would have if I had just seen the village by itself. I greatly enjoyed having a typical Andong style meal, walking through the village, visiting the Confucian academy and the mask museum.
I would greatly recommend this tour to anyone interested in South Korea’s history and culture!

We had an amazing tour with Mr. Benny Kim! He was such a professional and an amazing tour guide. He picked us up early, drove well, and took us to a nice local restaurant in Andong and the best spots in Hahoe village and Byeongsan-Seowon. He also took a lot of great photos of us and answered so many of my questions. It was a really long drive from Seoul but he made it easy and fun. We had a lot of great conversations with him and I feel like I got to know him and Korea better through this tour. I couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you so much for taking us around in Andong!

the Guide was very knowledgeable and explained property about the whole village
I couldn't believe that people are still living there, they maintained the village pretty good, winter season will be tough for them to move around though, i definitely recommend this trip

Neben unserer Geschäftsreise wollten wir auch noch etwas über die Kultur des Landes erfahren. Wir sind pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt worden. Unsere Tour war wie wir uns diese vorgestellt haben. Tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten, war sehr informativ. Unser Guide Chance hat uns im Anschluss noch tolle Bilder zukommen lassen. Rundum sehr zufrieden!

Guide was punctual on arrival and extremely initiative in reaching out to contact us prior to the trip (e.g. hotel pickup, days to avoid traffic etc). A great and safe driver, the journey was smooth and enjoyable. He is also well-versed in English and is knowledgeable about Korean history and culture. The place we visited was scenic and beautiful, definitely worth a visit! Plus point: the guide takes really nice photos and he will send it to you promptly after the trip:) Will definitely contact Outdoors Korea for future trips.
