Arrived at the airport and waited over 45 minutes - sent texts and called and could not connect. They reached out an hour later and we already found a ride - would never use again.

My flight was almost 1 hour late. After I cleared customs, I looked inside and outside the airport for my name and could not spot a sign. Luckily, an airport “greeter” jumped in and got connected to WiFi and called Emo Tours to sort it out. The guide and driver were there, had been waiting and once it was sorted, they got me into Cairo in record time.

I thought he'd be waiting for me when I left the arrival lobby with a piece of paper with my name on it, but he's not here. I haven't waited a while. I went to see if he might be outside, but he's not.
I can barely use Wifi at the airport. (After I register, my confirmation number goes into my country's number, but I think most people turn it off because they don't bother to use mobile data overseas.) I finally got a local number, called the office, and my guide told me already, and I let him know via WhatsApp. The WahsApp number is the number of your country registered at the time of booking, and as long as you don't have Wifi, you can't connect. I can't see that WhatsApp, but my guide is already waiting for me and I've let him know on WhatsApp. If I hadn't paid in advance (there's no postpaid option when booking), I could've cancelled and taken a taxi around. (There were a lot of taxi solicitations.)
I went outside again and finally found my guide waiting for me to smoke.
It seems that there were some circumstances why we couldn't stop at the airport for a long time, but the excitement of the moment we arrived disappeared. Honestly, I didn't have to make a reservation.

Do not use this company for an airport transfer. I booked a number of trips recently through Trip Advisor, this being one of them. This is the only one who did not show. Waited for half an hour, tried calling them, all without avail. After wandering around the arrivals area I decided to take a cab to the hotel. I then received a WhatsApp 45 minutes later with them holding a sign with my name on it. Could have been taken at anytime. Extremely bad communication and terrible service.

I used a private transfer from Cairo Airport to the hotel.
The flight was delayed an hour, but our driver, Abdo Ragab, was happy to wait for us.
On the way, he showed me around the city and told me jokes, and we had a fun time together, even though it was a short time.

These guys were great. It was our first trip to Egypt and we just did not know what to expect. The driver and his companion were very patient with us. Our flight was late getting in but they were very easy to find and it was the first of many great experiences on our trip.

It’s strange that I just finished giving a 5 star review for an Emo Tour in Luxor, but I can’t for this one. I booked an airport ride from Cairo Airport to our hotel. I thought it would be easier after flying for 15 hours with no sleep. I messaged the company the day before to ensure that we were still on and made sure that I gave my WhatsApp number, assuming it would be given to the driver so that we could coordinate once the plane landed. If you haven’t been to Cairo Airport before - it is a complete madhouse with thousands of people. It took awhile to get through customs, and of course my luggage was literally the last bag off the plane. I attempted to contact the number I had talked to the company on the day before as it was the only number I had. No one answered my texts or phone calls (it was evening time). The next day they told me that the driver was there waiting for me. Maybe he was, but I never found him, he never attempted to contact me to tell me exactly where he was (hard to find a guy with a little sign in a sea of people with the vague description “I am outside the terminal”). Or maybe he left as it took awhile to get through customs and baggage claim. I tried contacting them the next day and they essentially said “We don’t do WhatApp” which is something that it would have been nice to know the day before when I was conversing with them on WhatsApp. Anyway, it looks like I’m eating that money. It’s actually not worth it anyway. When you walk out of the terminal there are hundreds of taxis, and they all charge the same thing - $20 USD (taxis in Egypt really prefer USD, just a heads up). The cab driver who brought us to our hotel was super nice and he got me out of the crabby mood I was in for being sleep deprived and stood up.

They will email you to confirm. They were always prompt on my transfers. Make sure to exit from the center door of Cairo airport for international arrivals and the left door for domestic arrivals. The guide will be across the street with a sign with your name.

Yes! We had no problems, both myself and my partner got SIM cards at the airport. When mine was done I got a message on WhatsApp with my guide introducing himself and that he is from Emo tours and advising me where he was. I explained that my friend was still getting a SIM card he was very patient and was extremely happy when we came out to welcome us to Egypt 🇪🇬

40lbs is big but we had bigger bags and it was not an issue, just give them an accurate head count so they can send the right size vehicle.

Actually I hired them to drop me and my family at another hotel in Giza and I don't think there is any problem for them to do so for other hotels.
But it's worth it to contact them and negotiate your request and the price.
