We organised our day of sightseeing with Get a Guide and this is a review of this highly recommended tour. We covered Giza: Pyramid, Memphis, Sakkara Dahshur and finished with a felucca trip. It was a door to door drop off which made things easier as we were staying in the heart of downtown Cairo.
Our guide Taghreed and driver Ahmed are the dream combination to take you on a time travelling trip through the impressive Egyptian dynasties. We learned so much about the history that shaped Egypt, shared unforgettable experiences and every aspect was carefully curated to maximise our love of ancient Egyptian history. The romantic felucca ride completed a spectacular anniversary celebration.
Taghreed is so knowledgeable and really helped to bring the history to life, testing our knowledge and visualising the everyday lives of the Egyptians from the ordinary people to the great kings and queens. We felt as though we were walking in their footsteps as we marvelled at all that had been achieved and the legacy left behind.
We maximised our experience because of Taghreed’s passion and knowledge of Egyptian history as well as Ahmed’s skilful driving ensuring we had the best opportunity to make our own memories drawn from the incredible history of Egypt.

The views on the pyramids plateau are amazing and not saturated even if there are many people because being so big and with so much to see there is no crowding, except if you decide to enter the pyramid of Keops.There if there is a queue to enter, too many people in those narrow corridors, very hot...The bent pyramid has many stairs but we liked the experience better, outside Giza there is much less tourism and it is all relaxed maa.Our guide to Emo Tour, Doha Ahmed is perfect, I recommend it.

I was overwhelmed by Egypt's great civilization.
I had also forgotten, but our guide Mona noticed it was my birthday when she looked at my passport and sent me a congratulatory message. After lunch, she prepared a birthday cake as a surprise and held a small party for me.
It was an unforgettable trip to Cairo.

It's a must do. Great experience, lunch, and tour. The camel ride was fun. Skip the shops there are plenty of shops else where especially the bazar.

The tour guide and the driver were very cheerful and helpful. Full of knowledge and tried to accommodate our kids too. But we felt it was a bit rushed to visit the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara. Didn’t have much time to actually to walk around and take our own time to appreciate. But then again perhaps it was due to traveling with small children. Would have really enjoyed if we had more time visiting the Sphinx as well. Overall we are happy with the tour.

Asmaa was my guide she was amazing. The best guide ever her knowledge was outstanding and was always accommodating to my needs and wants. Asmaa went above and beyond to ensure my tour was unforgettable. She really made my trip to Cairo.

Be prepare to see all the pyramids, Sphinx and Memphis in one single shot (wear comfortable shoes) with a knowledgeable tour person (ask for Lobna and for the driver Haweed AKA Mr. Panama)

We went on this Tour with our guide Essam who made this an amazing experience. The amount of knowledge he has about the ancient Egyptian Civilization is outstanding. Also on this tour we really felt that nobody wants to scam us - which is not always true in Egypt.

Point fort : découvrir les fameux et fabuleux sites concernés. Un chauffeur cordial, souriant, ponctuel. De jolis photos prises par le guide.

Great tour, well worth it. Our guide Tonsi was knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining some of the history behind pyramids and the dynasties / kingdoms as well as answering questions of Cairo and the surrounding area. He was very helpful navigating through the sites as well as helping us with setting up a driver for another day of sightseeing.

Hello: Is it possible to include Dahsur and start with Giza and then finish with Saqqara and Dahsur. Can we start as early as possible to be first in the entry gate at Giza. Thank you

Many companies do exactly that...theory to do Giza in cooler morning hours, but you're there with hundreds of other tourists with same idea...if you do Giza later in the day, you've visited the other pyramids at Saqqara and Dahsur without any crowds there, and by the time you get to Giza the crowds have gone and you'll have Giza more to yourself. Be sure to pace yourself and stay hydrated...the day is long and interesting and filled with information! Can be exhausting...but worth it!

Price stated as per person. Verify whether you are private, meaning by yourself, or private group, which means that you are not alone but in a small group in a vehicle smaller than a bus. Ask for "Hala," third generation female tour guide. Very knowledgeable.

I paid 78 USD for two people. A very reasonable price for a comfortable ride and a very knowledgeable tour guide! You'll see the great pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Also you get to tour some of the tombs. Our guide spoke very good English. They may have someone who offers the tour in Spanish. Great trip well worth the price!
