A lot of Fun!

The cruise was nice and the dancers were fun to watch. A nice way to chill after going and going the whole time we were there.
I'm not a meat eater so the buffet was challenging for me but I managed.

Lovely party on Nile river - must do!

It was a great party atmosphere on the boat with an excellent buffet spread and amazing entertainment. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and worked hard to make this a memorable experience for us. Highly recommend!

Une catastrophe, fuyez!
Nous n’avons aimé que le buffet d’entrée mais leur « mojito » c’est du sprite et le plat chaud était pire qu’une mauvaise cantine scolaire. Le bœuf était de la semelle de chaussure avec une épaisseur de carpaccio. Le dessert un vieux cake pas le choix. A peine posé l’argent sur la table, ils ont mis 2 secondes à le récupérer tellement ils étaient impatients d’encaisser. La belly dancer était un beau spectacle quand on l’apercevait .. Musique très forte.
Le guide n’a même pas dit merci quand on lui a donné son pourboire.

River cruise on the Nile

It’s hard to pinpoint only one favorite experience because I enjoyed every single moment from the beginning to the end of my two hour River Nile cruise. Absolutely phenomenal!

Very good cruise

Great setting, environment, ambiance
The basic waiter was there to assist even with opening the water and butter packet. The music was very good along with the dancing. We were the first to arrive- got the salad buffet, drinks and food quickly. Our meal was average, nothing special (Sea Bass was better than the chicken).
The boat moved after 1 hour when the dancers started.
The building lights from the hotels and the small excursion lit up boats on the Nike made the cruise. Do not expect to see a sunset in the location we were docked at. This cruise is a dinner cruise with great entertainment.
With an event like this you can meet other travelers if you choose to mingle.

Everything was good until the bill came and the lead waiter of our area refused to give us our change and took our receipt. He insisted on a tip many times without giving us our change.
We finally got some change (20 EP) then asked for the receipt and got the receipt with the proper change. Later, we talked to management staff and he was not happy with the behavior of the lead waiter in our area.

We would have been happy to tip and we did happily tip the basic waiter personally.
However, the bill already included 15% service charge along with the normal VAT.

Overall, a good experience- equal to the reviews we read about this cruise.

ROMANTIC, FUN, CULTURE NILE RIVER DINNER AND SHOW

We had a great time Heshah Nasser Khedr speaks good English and we used them for all we did. The food was awesome but the traditional entertainment was very fun... They picked us up, guide stayed near us, we got special treatment everywhere we went, great show, and the Nile is historic.. This Guide is the best around ... no games, straight up, HONEST, protective and I trust him and his driver, and his Son... beautiful night... Egyptians respect this man a lot...

okay!! could be better organized

The whole adventure was okay. The driver and guide picked my and my family up at the hotel about 5mins past the scheduled time. it was fine due to the traffic in Cairo. The bus was very clean and A/C was working very well (thank God for that cos Cairo is hot). the guide was friendly. when we got to the dock he stood in line for us to get on the boat quicker. The boat was quite old but we had a view of the Nile. The food was just okay (buffet style). People were a bit rowdy with the line for food. The entertainment was alright. There were photographers taking random pictures and forcing to purchase a printed copy. Toilets were a bit decent as there was a cleaning person there who was also begging for money. at the end of the night we were taken back to our hotel. Overall I will rate this tour a C-.

Not what we were looking for.

Was booked on the Nile Cruise on the Andrea. This was booked by our hotel. It was not an enjoyable experience. The whole reason we wanted to take the cruise was to see the Cairo city lights at night. Instead they crowded us inside and not by a window. It was loud and uncomfortable. Food was just ok. Finally the last 15 minutes of the cruise we got to go upstairs, but there was not much to see. It was a very big disappointment.
