We start trip early morning , took 3 hours to get to Alexandria from Cairo. We were pick up by our driver and meet with our local tour guide there in Alexandria.
We have a lively driver who even with limited English - try to describe interesting view to see along the road.
Our tour guide was a local lady with a very fluent English …. Keeping us in line to make sure we were on time each places as we had to catch a flight after the tour completed.
I have to say - there are so many things to see in Alexandria , I felt a 4-6 hours tour just barely cover the Must to See places there .( regretfully) - my favourite place was the catacombs kom el shuqafa.
There are still many interesting places we won’t able to see due to lack of time due to flight situation ….
Recommendation - if have more time to spend …. Take 2-3 days to really enjoy Alexandria wonders.

The driver, Iman, was very hospitable and willing to stop along the way to Alexandria for food and coffee. He gave knowledge of the areas along the way, which was very informative. The tour guide, Jean, blew my mind of how much he knew about Alexandria. Just about EVERY building we passed, he knew who built it, what year, and why. I felt as though we covered every square inch of the city. If I could give more stars, I definitely would.

Brilliant Tour Guide and Driver - Had a fantastic day! Well informed guide, extremely knowledgeable.
Had great food with the Locals, highly recommend the falafel & Liver sandwich.
Tour guide Mou Mou extremely flexible and happy to adjust your tour according to your preference.
Absolutely loved the citadel of Qaitbay.
We were sceptical about booking tours especially where some look to find “selling” opportunities - but this was different and it was all client focus to make sure you feel comfortable and get to see exactly what you want to see!
Driver, Mo Saleh (Not the Football player) was awesome and took his time to explain the areas we were passing and the journey passed having a good laugh.
I will highly recommend this Tour guide company!

Our trip to Alexandria was amazing our guide Mahmoud was extremely knowledgeable and helpful made the whole experience amazing. We took loads of photos and gain so much knowledge about this amazing country Unbelievable. Thank you to khaled our driver for returning us safe and sound

It was an all around great experience and great trip, our guide Mo was knowledgeable and we saw great things, …it was great until our driver brought us back to Cairo to a “national papyrus institute” and trinket shop that totally ripped off myself and my travel partner as we thought we were buying authentic souvenirs, rather than cheap foreign crap. As we were relatively new to the “markets” culture, now several days later in Egypt we know much better. Buy your stuff in the museum shops!

Alexandria was an interesting city. I think it’s pretty far for a day trip, which is not the fault of the tour company. But I would not choose to do this again from Cairo. Our guide was great, he had so many interesting things to say. I think his name was Momo. The ruins and cistern were really cool. We got to go inside the mosque during prayer time. Men and women have to use separate entrances and you will be asked to tip the shoe guy. Anyway, great tour but it was a lot of car time.

The service provided was very good. The manager got in contact, shared his whatsapp number and qas very supportive. A car with a good driver was sent and I met the guide at Alexandria. He had a lot of knowledge about the city and made me very comfortable in asking questions or wanting to see anything different than planned.
As it is a private tour and I am a woman travelling alone in Egypt, I was worried for my safety but it all went very well.

The Alexandria tour was a last minute decision to book. We were picked up at 7am, the driver was friendly and we stopped off at a service station half way.
When we arrived, we picked up the guide and went straight to the catacombs which were incredible. The amphitheatre was also great!
We stopped at the mosque and museum and took photos of Alexander the Great and Pompeys column.
Our final stop was the library which was nice to see. Then we had lunch, our guide (Mo) couldn't have been more flexible on what we wanted to eat and gave us a choice of food and venue, he sat and chatted with us while we ate.
The drive back was smooth and we arrived back at our hotel at about 6pm.
Would recommend seeing what Alexandria has to offer!

Egypt is AMAZING! but Alexandria is not worth it if you have limited time!
This tour of Alexandria for us provided a basic taste of Roman influence in Egypt, nothing in comparison to Italy, the Egyptian experience was not to be had here. We would strongly recommend spending your time and money in Cairo/Saqqara/Aswan/Luxor if you want to see Egyptian history & relics.
The dangerous high speed! 3 hr each way drive, filthy toilets and basic food provided, along with a poorly informed guide by an operations manager with limited understanding of the sites was a wasteful experience.
Upper Egypt is the treasure trove!
