We had an amazing day with Mustafa as our guide and Ramadan our driver. Mustafa is very knowledgeable and gave us a good understanding of life in both modern and ancient Egypt. A well paced tour with an amazing guide. Thank Mustafa.

We toured the citadel, and mosque as a group. It is a fascinating site, covering many centuries of history. The mosque is beautiful, even if unique and with a byzantine flair.
Our guide was very instructive, and being there at sunset gave us a first glimpse of the pyramids.

This was one of our favorite places to visit in Cairo. The mosque as well as palace and throne room is beautiful. It also wasn't so busy so we had the place to ourselves (we went in the morning)

A maior do Egito até a inauguracao da nova (agora em março de 2023), construida em alabastro, tem uma cupula enorme, inspirada na arquitetura otomana da época, tem um relogio frances na area aberta e dentro muitas luzes dão um visual incrivel para fotos. Ponto alto para a vista da cidade do Cairo, em dias de pouca fumaça é possivel ver as piramides de Gize.

La mezquita de alabastrino formaba parte de una visita a la ciudadela de Saladino, aunque es lo único que se visita en la citada ciudadela. La mezquita tiene la peculiaridad de que está hecha de alabastro. Tiene la estructura habitual de las mezquitas. Parece que ya no se usa religiosamente porque han retirado las alfombras. Aun asi te obligan a descalzarte o a comprar plásticos para los zapatos. Merece la pena venir a verla, pero sobretodo, salir al jardín exterior y ver El Cairo desde una de las zonas más altas

We went today to the citadel and sultan Hassan mosque with the lovely esraa we were fascinated with the rich history they hold she was quiet knowledgeable with interesting story telling and sense of humor as well we are already planning more trips soon.
