What an incredible trip this was—I’ll never forget it. I absolutely loved my guide, Babtismo and my driver Medhat. I did this tour all by myself but I felt like I become such great friends with these guys by the end of the tour. They were very friendly, always thoughtful, and very professional (which I really appreciate). And as a lone tour traveler, I felt very safe under their wings because they were very watchful over me and reactant to anyone who was doing something they’re not suppose to be doing.
As for the trip itself, I freaking loved it. Mount Sinai alone is a sight to behold. The views are astonishing, especially at the top. But in this tour, you tour you hike to the top to watch the sunrise. This is absolutely breath-taking. I’ll never forget this incredible experience. And with the history of this mountain being that God meant Moses at the top to deliver the 10 commandments, When the sun came up I felt like God was revealing his face to me. I felt so peaceful and happy. Mount Sinai definitely has a magical feel to it. I’ve done countless hikes but this one felt so different to me.
The monastery was nice too. Interesting history. It was really cool seeing where the burning bush was and where the Moses well was—where he met his wife.
I’m a Christian and doing this tour made me feel like I was stepping in bible times and the bible world—because of the way the city near the mountain looked and the ancient history and holy mountain. But of course this place isn’t only for Christians. This place attracts people from all over the world—of all religions. For good reason. Mount Sinai is a breath-taking experience.
Thank you Babtismo, Medhat, and Sun Egypt tours for watching over me and making sure I had the best experience possible. Thank you for your care and thoughtfulness.
I also want to mention that I needed a PCR covid test at the end of my trip, and they set me up stress-free, no problem. This is definitely a company you should book with! They’ve proven to me that they care very much about their customers.
