Very good visit at the Egyptian museum of Cairo accompanied by our guide Bassam, who is very knowledgeable, speaks very good English, clearly loves his job, and was really committed in giving us the best experience! :) We are travelling with our baby, and Bassam was also very helpful and accommodating with our needs - we can totally recommend! :)

Listening to our very amazing, awesome and very informative guide Mahmoud Badr. He is such a good enthusiastic storyteller. He is so passionate about the Egyptian history. I truly enjoyed and felt I was actually experiencing each moment as he described the items. He truly loves his country Egypt.

The Egyptian Museum is a must see for anyone in Cairo.
But our visit was too rushed- we kept being offered the chance to go to a souk or on a felucca - we just wanted to see the museum. The discussion wasted a lot of time. We did not have time to see everything we wanted. Mohammed our guide lacked information on many things - disappointing

Our guided tour with Mohammed Gomaa was excellent. Very knowledgable and entertaining, the tour was highly informative and very enjoyable. The whole experience from pickup at our hotel to recommendations for our evening after the tour, and helping make additional bookings, was very profesional. I would highly recommend this company and in particular Mohammed as the guide.

Mohammed, our guide, was very knowledgeable and thorough. I liked his stories, and kept the tour interactive with questions, trivia and little games. He was also funny, and took some pics of us in the museum. I had also requested a pick-up from the airport, straight to the tour and the vehicle was nice, new and airconditioned. Would recommend this experience!

Our guide Mahmoud met us with the driver at the allotted time with a friendly smile and great personality. He was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a great history lesson about the building of the museum even before we had entered the building. Mahmoud took great effort to explain in detail the key exhibits and their significance and left us with a much greater understanding of the context of a great many aspects of the lives of the Kings and Queen of Egypt. He is a guide who is passionate about the subject and extremely good company and his enthusiasm meant that we were engaged throughout.

Hicimos varios dias de visita a El Cairo con un guia privada, contratado por nuestra agencia de viajes en España. El guia tenía un gran conocimiento de la historia. Este museo es absolutamente imprescindible para entender la historia de Egipto. Aunque muchas piezas han sido trasladados al nuevo museo, aun queda suficiente para disfrutar de la visita.

En el momento que lo visitamos había perdido su encanto, pues estaban en pleno traslado de piezas al nuevo museo.
Aún así es espectacular todo lo que tienen expuesto,y sobre todo la tumba de Tutankhamen.
Merece la pena la visita, aunque anteriormente era más auténtica, pues para dia que todo estaba tirado dadá la gran cantidad de piezas que tenían.
Esperemos que el nuevo rinda homenaje al gran legado egipcio.
Aún así es espectacular todo lo que tienen expuesto,y sobre todo la tumba de Tutankhamen.
Merece la pena la visita, aunque anteriormente era más auténtica, pues para dia que todo estaba tirado dadá la gran cantidad de piezas que tenían.

Excellent tour with Omar to the Egyptian Museum. Expertly explained the complicated history of Egypt and made understanding the museum easy. The driver and transport van were both excellent as well and communication was flawless. Would definitely recommend this tour and Omar.
