Lovely dinner and walk around! Marwa was an excellent guide, so thoughtful. She shared a lot of information about the village and about her culture. We are vegetarians and she ordered a delicious meal for us, by the Nile river. We totally recommend a tour with her!

Me and my wife were picked up by our guide Mathew and walked through the exciting Nubian village market. Mathew told us about the history and character of the area, we were shown the crocodile house and he helped us to by some things from the local vendors.
Then we were treated to the most delicious meal, 6 courses traditional Nubian cuisine. So good!
After dinner we went on a boat tour on the Nile and we got to see the beautiful way the Nubian village is lit up at night.
Then we were dropped of at our hotel. It was a most delightful experience!

We had such an amazing experience with our tour guide Youssef Shoukry. He took us to the Nubian village by boat on the Nile to a delicious restaurant for dinner. Following dinner we walked around the village and stopped at shops to purchase things from the villagers. Make sure to talk down the price while in the village and you can score some amazing deals with great stuff. It’s safe to buy from them, but always negotiate on a much lower price. I wish I would have bought more while in the village. The architectural details throughout the village were amazing. It was so colorful and full of life and the people were kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this tour, you can not go to Aswan without visiting the Nubian village, it’s a must. Youssef then took us to a spice shop where we bought many spices (also negotiate on a much lower price). This experience was awesome we ended up staying in there for 2 hours learning, talking with the locals, and drinking teas. He always made us feel safe throughout the tour and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the village and Aswan. I would highly recommend this tour as well as Youssef as your guide. Thanks for an unforgettable evening!!
