We booked our honeymoon through Nile Cruisers and had a wonderful experience. We did the 4 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan on the Sun Goddess. Our guide Mo, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgable, kind, courteous, and always on time. He made our experience enjoyable from start to finish. The reservation team was always fantastic, always answering my questions and helped with booking.

We met our guide Mo at the Winter Palace in Luxor and he led our visits for the duration of the Nile Cruise. Mo really made our trip-prompt, very organised, highly informed and with excellent English he made access to the many temples and tourist sites a memorable experience.

I rarely use tour companies, but for Egypt it is a MUST. I was traveling alone with my mother (74) and was extra cautious about everything. After several days of researching I decided on Nile Cruisers. So happy I went with them. Communication was very responsive. I probably drove Hend crazy with all my questions and emails, but she answered them all and everything went according to plan. In Jordan we had the most amazing driver, Mo (Mohanad Abd Aldaym). He looked after my mom and I like we were family. Always felt safe on and off the road with him. His English was perfect. Jordan is a beautiful country and very safe. All accommodations were wonderful and as promised. Highly recommend the Memories Camp for a night in Wadi Rum, truly unforgettable.
In Cairo our guide, Hadeer, was super knowledgeable and fun. She took alot of great pics for us as well. We ate a traditional lunch that was prepared table side. Very fun. We flew to Luxor the next day to catch the cruise. I highly recommend flying not driving or the train! The Cruise on the Nile was on the Tulip, all these boats are the same ship with the same itinerary. They upgraded us to a suite, which was nice. We had our own tour guide that was with us all 5 days of the cruise and he was amazing. Abdel is a real Egyptologist. He had incredible knowledge of all sights and answered all endless questions. He arranged some last minute change requests to our schedule so we could visit the Nubian Village outside of Aswan and take a felucca sail. I highly recommend both. Abdel was very patient and kind as well. The private tour is the way to go. You can move at your own pace and have so much flexibility. Again, everyone at this company was top notch and honest.

Wow wow wow!!!! What an amazing experience, every bit of it. Nile Cruisers are super awesome, the staff is so well organised, staring from booking the trip till end saying bye bye to egypt the staff helped every moment. Mai was so perfect with the booking, explaining the whole trip, arranging visa. She made sure we had the best guide throughout. Ahmed , fatima, yosuf and Muhammad were our tour guides who not only did the tour for us also made sure we were safe at every point. The communication was so clear, they were fully deciphered, knowledgeable and professional.
Only once I had informed Mai that I am coming with my little kid, and she made sure I don't have to worry about anything. She did my booking the best of best cruise which was a out of the world experience. Thank you Mai, Ahmed, Fatima, yosuf and Muhammad. also heart felt thank-you to every member involved. Also want to mention we got the best vehicle for any local travel. It was a perfect personal tour.

We decided to book this cruise after a lot of investigation. We had a little bit of trouble with the down payment on the cruise as we had to pay 50 percent ahead of time and 50 percent on the first day but we are from Mexico and out cards don’t work with Amazon pay. Finally after a frustrating week of not being able to pay we were sent a link to pay with PayPal and it worked fine. We were sent itinerary and we’re ready to go. We arrived to Luxor by train and as expected the train got late. We found our baring and our tour guide sherif met us at the station to take us to the boat. Because we arrived early we were able to go straight to valley of the kings to optimize time and have more time in the tombs. On the next day we would only be allowed three hours but because of the change we were allowed five. Sherif made our tour very amiable. He was very knowledgeable about the ruins and explained it all in detail. We personally really liked his style of explanation turning all the stories very entertaining with the historic relevance. Plus he would explain everything outside the temple or ruin and we could go find everything he explained. Made the ruined more of a treasure hunt. In between the temples we were taken to see the local culture stops, fragrance shop, alabaster workshop and a papyrus workshop with out the pressure to buy anything. But receiving the full explanation of the craft. On our last day we asked him to take us to the bazaar in our free time and we even walked around a more local scene to experience the culture more no just touristic Egypt. Sherif was a great guide and open to turning the tour to meet the needs of all. We were always supplied with water and arrived on time for food on the boat. My only complaint about the boat was the room had a couple of glitches. The first day water came out of the toilet but it was fixed immediately. We were there in very cold days, the pool is not heated so we did not get to use it and the last day when the days got warmer our air conditioning did not work properly. Lot her than that the staff was very friendly and the boat was tastefully decorated and the food good for all pallets. Highly recommended tour.

I’ve found Nile Cruisers on line and handled all my communications with them via WhatsApp and email. They were very responsive, knowledgeable and trustworthy in helping me plan and book my trip. My special thanks to Mai who was always available and very helpful. I was impressed with the guide assigned to us. Moaz Shaker had a wealth of knowledge of ancient and recent history and besides that was a great match for our group. Personable, flexible, not pushy and a great human being.
If anything different, I wish I had spent more time speaking with Nile Cruisers discussing our personal preferences so that we could choose the boat that was right for us. There are hundreds of choices. We chose the Movenpick Hamees. Like 90% of the boats you see on the Nile the vessel needs an update, maintenance and cleaning. If available, it is also important to choose a cruise that has some exclusive docking space. Boats are docked for a material portion of the 5 days cruise. They are often stacked side by side and it does spoil your experience when you have your cabin window just 3 feet away from another boat’s window.
If anything different, I wish I had spent more time speaking with Nile Cruisers discussing our personal preferences so that we could choose the boat that was right for us. Just want to start saying that a Nile Cruise is a “Must Do” if you want to experience real Egypt. The amazing views of the Temples and villages in both sides of the Nile is something unique. From Karnak Temple in Luxor, Abu Simbel, Philae Temple (my favorite), Valley of the kings and Queens and Kom Ombo, all have their own beauty and The visit to the Nubian Village and the Felucca ride on the last day was definitely a highlight. We did the 5 days cruise from Luxor to Aswan and were very lucky to have a wonderful guide during our tour, Ahmed Elsamman, who accompanied us. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He cared about us, was very flexible to attend our interests. We were 4 adults in the group and he managed to made our trip just wonderful. Thank you very much. The service of the crew in the boat was excellent and also the food. We went in Movenpick Darakum boat.
Everything was perfect, the itinerary, the activities, all well planned to the details. Nile Cruisers is a very good choice if you want an unforgettable experience.

I joined this Nile cruise tour with my wife in December 2022. We are Japanese and would like to leave a review especially for those who care about the “details”, “truth” and “reality” because for most of the people it would be the first time to visit Egypt and especially for Japanese people there must be lots of things to worry about for Nile cruise tour. Speaking about the conclusion in the first place, it’s “must” to go. I strongly recommend the tour company Nile Cruisers if you are still wandering which one to choose. I found this company on their website. They have posted lots of reviews and information on their website and those are all true. Nothing is overstating. So trust them all, really.
Omnia was our coordinator. She gave us sufficient information in order to find a right cruise out of many options. If you have any questions about a cruise, ask her through WhatsApp. She will give you a prompt feedback. In the end, we chose Mövenpick Darakum with 4 nights luxury package including Abu Simbel tour.
Our guide for our five days tour was Mr. Ahmed Elsamman. He is a great and knowledgeable Egyptologist. Not only that, he arranged everything so perfectly in a professional way. Nothing to complain to him. Time schedule, transport arrangements, tips for tipping (tipping is quite common in Egypt, even for local Egyptians), everything was just perfect and well organized. He’s a very kind man with hospitality. I’m pretty sure that you would be very much satisfied with his guide experience and also his personality. We love him very much!
Regarding Mövenpick Darakum, all the cruise staff are wonderful and friendly. Every meal, from Egyptian to Western, is just delicious. If you are Japanese, you may be concerned about food hygiene. For us, it was no problem with having raw vegetables (salad). For your tips, drink is not free but reasonable price (for breakfast it’s free). Our cabin was a double room. It’s clean enough to stay comfortably. Bathroom is also clean with hot water + amenities, shampoo, shower gel, towels, hair dryer etc. But for water, we were not sure if it’s completely safe. So we used a bottle of mineral water even for brushing teeth. For toilet, you are not allowed to flush toilet papers down a toilet. You have to throw them to a bin.
In the end, the Nile cruise is sooo good and definitely recommended. You will have a great experience with stress-free cruise tour! Many thanks to Ahmed, Omnia and all the cruise staff!
