Empresa irresponsável. Fiz a reserva com 3 meses de antecedência a empresa cancelou o meu passeio sem qualquer justificativa, faltando 1 semana, única e exclusivamente para me forçar a contratar em cima da hora e pagar mais caro. Mandei mensagens para a empresa, mas ninguém respondeu. Não comprem com eles, procurem as concorrentes.

This tour organized by Noor Tours is just OK. (This is my perspective). But, will start with the Pros:
1. Great cruise ship with good food (For us it was Nile Treasure). Make sure to get ypur room in the ground level and upper level deck in the cruise. Not the lower deck.
2. Guide with great English (It was Michael for us)
3. The temples and tombs are all great.
Note: The Aswan high dam is an absolute waste of money
Now Cons:
1. Just a routine tour to complete all the mentioned sites which any tour organizer can give you. Nothing special about them. Had to literally run in most of the temples. Not enough time to feel the places.
2. Too much insistence on tips. We know how tipping culture works in Egypt. But out of the multiple places we visited in Egypt, we felt extremely pressurized specifically in this tour. Our guide Michael was literally asking us to tip anybody and everybody during the trip. Sometimes even unnecessarily.
3. Lack of flexibility and communication from the guide and the tour company

Guide: Our guide Mohammad was extremely knowledgeable in the history of all the sites we visited. However due to his expansive knowledge, we ended up with very short times to explore the sites. Unfortunately, even with an abbreviated explanation, the herded tourism process of these sites and mass amounts of people makes it difficult to really immerse oneself in these majestic locations. Mohammad was very accommodating to all of our group's needs, especially in single handedly arranging our transport to locations, back to hotels, etc. He was always warm, kind and funny. We really enjoyed his company throughout. We’re unsure however if it’s the policy to wait on all guests to leave FOR a location regardless of how late they were, but this did make for less time at certain sites. 5 Stars
Boat (Nile Shams): Let’s be clear, this is far from a 5 star venue, by any country’s standards. We were greeted with a room we didn’t book (booked and paid for 1 queen bed, got 2 singles) and were told all the rooms were configured this way. Fine, whatever. To counter what seemed to be a bug problem, which is likely inevitable in some places, what smelled like an entire can of bug spray was unloaded in our hallway creating noxious odors. The boat itself is in some disrepair needing fixes for basic safety such as rugs pulling up creating trip hazards all over, stained bed covers, running toilets etc. In general it’s in dire need of an overhaul. I understand that no boat is guaranteed, but this one seems a bit rough considering the 5 Star branding everywhere. 2.5 stars
Excursions: The sites were absolutely magnificent and got better the further north we went. I was awestruck by every location. By no fault of the company, boat or guide, it was just extremely packed due to peak season. YMMV. As stated above, more time at each site would’ve been appreciated. Education could’ve been provided on the way to the sites with the pictures that were used while there, then give time to really appreciate the 4k years of history. 4 stars
Food: The food was mostly of good quality prepared by chefs who took their jobs seriously. Hamouda, the sous chef, was a gem; kind, funny and caring. We had a blast chatting with him as well. Although, the menu was a bit repetitive each day for lunch./dinner. 1 of the 3 breakfasts was a boxed meal consisting of lots of various breads, some jam, cheese slice, cucumber and tomato, leaving many of us hungry, and nowhere near what a sit down breakfast offered the next day. 4 stars
Transportation: Transport vehicles were clean and well kept. The drivers navigated the unruly traffic with ease and skilled use of the horn. Carriage rides were a bit harrowing but fun nonetheless. Traffic in Egypt is not for the faint of heart. 4 stars
Entertainment: Entertainment was minimal and included a 1 hour “disco party” on one night, and a 30 minute belly dance/live music presentation on another. 2 stars
Hot Air Balloon Ride: Canceled due to weather. Refund accepted per guidelines
Note: Tips and tickets amount to another $60 USD per person
Overall , 3.5 stars for the entire experience

Elegí este crucero de 4 dias/3 noches desde Aswan a Luxor luego de comparar las características de varios cruceros de mayor precio, algunos de los cuales no incluían la excursión en globo en Luxor. Mi decisión se basó en la relación costo/prestación de la oferta de Noor Egypt Tours / Moody Tours (viajé sólo y la tarifa indicada es por persona, pero para un mínimo de dos personas, por lo que el viajero single tiene un cargo adicional). Como hablo español pero me manejo razonablemente en inglés, no tuve problema con las excursiones en inglés.
En la descripción siempre estuvo claramente especificado que las entradas a museos, ruinas y bebidas a bordo no estaban incluidas. Estaban incluidos los transportes terrestres, el guía (en inglés), régimen de comidas (dependientes de las excursiones que uno decidiera tomar) y el globo aerostático. Para mí estaba claro que el crucero no era un crucero de placer en donde existen casinos, discotecas, microcines, barra libre u otros entretenimientos varios en donde el barco es el protagonista y tampoco a este costo. Si busca eso, no venga a Egipto.
La registración y embarque (en mi caso venía por avión desde Cairo) comenzó con la recogida desde el Aeropuerto (gracias Manwar!) y la llegada al barco. Al igual que en otras experiencias similares que tuve, hubo que armarse de cierta paciencia porque se produce el embotellamiento de cuatro o cinco agencias que llevan sus respectivos y numerosos grupos casi al mismo tiempo y a los que forzosamente toma tiempo acomodar lo mismo que sus equipajes.
La habitación que me tocó en el barco estaba limpia y prolija, lo mismo que las almohadas, ropa de cama y el colchón. El equipamiento del baño estaba razonable y contaba con buena presión de agua. El frigobar, el aire acondicionado y el televisor (que encendí una sola vez por curiosidad) funcionaban sin problemas. Una vez dicho esto, sí podrían mejorarse algunos aspectos estéticos del barco en general como alfombrados o cortinados que lucen desgastados.
El salón de lunch, funcionaba como buffet y ofrecía verduras y frutas frescas, abundantes aunque no tan variadas, cuatro o cinco comidas preparadas que iban cambiando con los días y el ambiente resultaba agradable y bien presentado.
Genial la experiencia del globo aerostático: un espectáculo en si mismo todo lo concerniente a la preparación y luego muy bien pilotado el globo.
Un párrafo especial quiero dedicar al staff que nos acompañó: Mohammed Gobran (nuestro guía), el conductor y acompañante hacia y desde Abu Simbel y Luxor. Mohamed demostró conocimiento y profesionalismo en los distintos templos y ruinas, haciendo notar lo más relevante en ellos: Abu Simbel, Philáe, Edfú, Kom Ombo, Hatshepsut y Valle de los Reyes (mi propio diseño de viaje incluía tres noches en Luxor por lo que no hice con el grupo los templos de Luxor y Karnak) los que hice por mi cuenta. También realizó recomendaciones y sugerencias muy valiosas sobre cómo manejarse con comerciantes y vendedores. Gracias Mohamed!

Unforgettable experience for our honeymoon. The perfect low budget cruise option. Yes the boat is old and it took a day for them to fix our hot water in the shower but the food was fabulous, the crew helpful and our guide Mohamed did his best to ensure every detail was taken care of.
We would have liked more time to understand the temples, tombs, statues, hieroglyphs and background information to help us make sense of the what we were seeing. That part was a bit rushed and too much like a series of statistics rather than painting the picture in more of a storytelling way. But that kind of storytelling is perhaps more for a personal tour so we can’t expect that level of detail when our guide has to look after the whole group.
We really loved being in a group and meeting people from around the world.
We didn’t go on every temple excursion and sometimes just enjoyed staying in our cabin and watching the Nile pass by.
Tips were a total of USD25 per person in total for the 4 days. Which I felt was reasonable. Of course in Egypt every person who lifts up your suitcase, drives you, says hello to you expects a tip, so just ignore all that.

Our tour guide, Bee, was nice and very knowledgeable. It was good to have someone to explain the temples. The food was good and staff were nice.

The sites we got to see were amazing but the overall experience was not great. The organisation of the trip was not great, our tour group felt that we wasted a lot of time due to poor organisation; and communication from our guide was also poor, we were often left in the dark until the last minute about what we were doing. I would say it probably depends what boat you end up being put on, which you won’t know until you arrive, we were on the Nile Sapphire and the boat was quite old compared to some of the others we saw but it was fine and the top deck was nice, but the communication from the boat staff and from our guide was very poor

It was amazing! Visiting all the temples from Abu Simble to Luxor, is far more better than I expected. Our tour guide Mahmoud was kind and delt with all our optistcals. Only one thing, they should work on their timings, but hey, that's the Egyptian way ;)

Hello,
If I am picked up from Aswan Airport for this trip on Wednesday 22nd Feb morning, Should I be dropped off at Luxor Airport when the 4 day cruise finish on 25th feb Saturday ? What time?
From Cairo Should I get ticket to Aswan and return from Luxor to Cairo?

Hello Mohammad. Yes, after your cruise, you can tell your tour guide that you will be departing luxor via the airport. The last day of the tour ends around 2:30 pm or thereabouts. We booked a flight 8pm flight from luxor to cairo. Pls take note that flights are always delayed (or so I was told). We actually arrived in Cairo at 12 midnight! Some of our cruisemates booked earlier flights departing luxor at 5:30 & 7pm. I hope this helps.
