We have been to Luxor many times and as a result now feel comfortable arranging our own transport. Ayman Mahmoud was recommended to us by a friend. His Taxi was clean and well maintained and cold drinks were available to us throughout the trip. He was knowledgeable and helpful with regard to ticket purchases for the various exhibits and monuments and was more than happy to take us on a detour via the avenue of the sphinx on the way back.
He didn't take us anywhere we didn't want to go and he provided the exact service that we had asked for. We were out for 8 hours and the cost was very reasonable.
I have no hesitation in recommending Ayman as a good taxi driver whilst in Luxor.
