More than satisfied with the boat Blue shadow iii, it was very clean, good food, staff very friendly and funny.
Then our private tour was just perfect with our guide Ashraf who was joining the two of us to share his knowledge about ancient/new egypt. Very good guide we recommend ! The tour we bought with tripadvisor is quite complete in my opinion as it includes all the key monuments on the nile river between luxor and aswan and the fifth day we went by car to abu simbal. The fact that the guide is only apointed to the couple (as private tour) is very convenient!
Finally, the tip is given to the entire cruise staff in an enveloppe at the end which is more comfortable than having to give a tip at every service like it is mostly the case in all egypt (I for example gave +- 10% of the price for tips divided to the guide and the staff)

LO mejor el personal todos de 10. atentos profesionale y seviciales.
La habitacion bien el baño bien para ser un barco.
la comida aceptable,el buffet podria ser mas extenso.
La tienda de camisetas muy bien con unos precios mejores que en el mercadillo y mejor calidad.
La joyeria cuidadin pues a nosotros nos pegaron un "presunto" timo exagerado,creiamos que era una tienda seria y nos cobraron una estafa por una cruz de la vida 65 E cuando aqui vale 25E. (ya estamos tontos,pero creiamos que era una tienda seria y erea como en el bazar. asi que si teneis que comprar regatear a muerte o iros a otro sitio. nos timaron a todo el grupo.
y eso hace que te vayas con mal sabor de boca.

Este crucero está muy muy lejos de la categoría lujo, es más bien tres estrellas.
La habitación es bastante amplia, tiene una mesa y dos sillones junto a una gran ventana para disfrutar de las vistas y mucho espacio para colocar el equipaje en armarios y cajones.
No me parece ni medio normal el volumen de la música en el lounge bar que no deja dormir cuando llegas casi muerto de las visitas.
La comida que se ofrece en el buffet es muy variada pero de batalla. Hubo un día que había un menú con dos platos a elegir para la cena, no hubo buffet.
El servicio en general bueno aunque he de decir que el servicio de habitaciones probó mi gel de piernas cansadas que tenía en la nevera, el olor les delató :( muy mal por su parte.

Fairly good cruise with great service until the last day.
At check out we saw several charges on our credit card from Nile river cruise that we were unsure about. We inquired at the front desk and were told initially that the charges were billed from their company in Cairo and that we should contact their office in Cairo about the charges.
Amir from the front desk became extremely irate that we asked about the charges and started shouting to the top of his voice. He got into a heated argument with the tour guide who was assisting us. The scene left much to be desired. Guests were in shock as they passed by.
Amir was totally out of control as he paced up and down shouting. He refused to allow the attendants to assist us with our luggage.
We struggled off the boat with our luggage while the attendants just stood and looked in utter confusion.
We later discovered that the charges had nothing to do with the cruise but was from a nearby ATM that we had use.
Great experience otherwise, but the incident with Amir overshadowed the entire experience.
Better vetting needed especially for front desk staff.

La motonave es normal, no es lujosa ni tiene grandiosos salones pero esta todo limpio y la atención es buena. Solo te piden propina los que te arreglan la habitación y las bebidas no son caras (36 libras el agua grande 93 la cerveza). A destacar el bufet del barco, no es grande pero de un día a otro es super variado ninguno de los 8 de la mesa nos aburrimos de la comida y todo siempre estaba muy bueno. Ademas si eres celiaco no tienes problema. Yo el primer día se lo dije al jefe de cocina y cada día cuando entraba el salía y me iba diciendo plato a plato que era apto y que no era para mi. Incluso si el detectaba que no tenia opciones de carne o pescado porque todas llevaban harina en las salsas me tenia preparado en cocina la versión sin salsa para que eligiera lo que quería. (adjunto foto de los días que estuvimos para que se vea las opciones que tuve) En general, siempre tenia una versión de patata (fritas, pure, al horno, en salsa con verduras…. ) unas verduras al vapor o en salsa (cada dia una diferente), el arroz (ojo porque no lo hacen solo a veces lleva garbanzo o arroz salvaje o guisantes o FIDEOS!.) Las sopas no siempre valen pero las cremas de verduras casi siempre eran aptas. Los postres casi nunca eran aptos pero siempre había variedad de fruta. Nota: Nunca había pan ni nada de bolleria para celiacos en el desayuno. No tienen ninguna leche que no sea la entera, no tienen ninguna bebida cero cafeina. Comimos todos genial dursnte nuestra estancia

We took this 4-day cruise down the Nile as a part of our tour from Over Egypt Tours. From the moment we boarded this ship we were treated with friendly staff and a beautiful boat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. And, the buffet food was great!
Traveling by boat down the Nile to each of our destinations was a special treat. Yes, it was hot. But, as nightfall approached we wandered to the upper deck to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Nile River. The upper deck also had a pool which was perfect for dipping in to cool off. The deck also had plentiful umbrellaed tables to keep the hot sun off of our skin.
If there was one issue, it had to do with the people in boats who latched on to our boat trying to sell all kinds of items. They were loud and persistent...staying with us for miles. However, I guess if nobody on board bought anything from them, they wouldn't come. So, unless that changes...the boat people won't go away any time soon. All and all, it was a very pleasant journey!

This was my first time in a Nile cruise and visiting Luxor and Aswan. This was truly an exceptional experience. Everyone was so courteous and nice. Everyday was rich with activities. Special thanks to Mr. Alaa, the talented and creative photographer on the ship that followed our group to take amazing pictures and videos. We were all truly thankful for him.
The housekeeping staff also surprised us everyday with creating characters with the towels which was so hilarious. Thank you to all who made this trip unforgettable.

Blue Shadow Cruise is an excellent cruise service on the Nile that my wife and I enjoyed dyring our 4 days 3 nights cruise Aswan to Luxor...Good accomodation, nice arrangments for meals, good service by staff...Overall a package worth experiencing on an Egypt tour

It is impossible to sleep in room 318 since the engine makes a terrible noise and what is worse, it is useless to complain at the reception because once the cabin is assigned, it remains, turning your experience in Egypt into a real garbage. When the ship is docked the noise is annoying but you can sleep at times but if the ship is sailing… forget it, it is simply unbearable. If you can run away!!!
Resulta imposible poder dormir en la habitación 318 ya que el motor hace un ruido terrible y lo que resulta peor, no sirve de nada quejarse en la recepción porque una vez asignado el camarote se mantiene, convirtiendo tu experiencia en Egipto en una verdadera basura. Cuando el barco está atracado el ruido es molesto pero puedes dormir a ratos pero si el barco está navegando… olvídate, es simplemente insoportable. Si puedes, huye!!!
