Khaled has been an amazing guide to our day-trip to Dendara and Abydos. Besides general infos on the sites, he shared a lot of oddities and extra infos! He is also a very kind and caring person, we really recommend him!!

I wanted see the Abydos temple, the supreme religious center of ancient Egypt, so I booked a private tour from Luxor. Mohamed organized it for me superbly and he kept checking whether everything is going well.
I had a great guide Ayman, and driver Ahmed. The transfers went smoothly, so I could focus on the beauty of the temples in Dendara and Abydos. Besides their significance, a good reason to visit is a lack of crowds (unlike say in Karnak).

Dendara and Abydos were the kind of temples I envisioned when I thought of Egypt before I went. These temples are incredible in beauty and size. I will never forget how I felt inside of these structures.
The guide was phenomenal too. I would’ve missed so much without his guidance.

What a superlative tour! I am so glad Khalid suggested it! It was not on our original itinerary, and I am so glad we went! The tour was just superlative and Khalid as a tour guide and a host is wonderful.
I still am staggered by the pictures and the memories of all that color and majesty.

Some of my favorite moments were in Dendara and Abydos. Having a guide to explain the hieroglyphics in Dendara is absolutely essential. There are so many fascinating inscriptions at these temples. Our guide took great pictures of us at this site! We had some great conversations too, regarding the historical importance of certain mysterious hieroglyphs. 😲
