I enjoyed this experience. It was a speed boat ride as opposed to a Felucca boat. The trip company guy explained that there was no wind so with the felucca it will take longer than necessary for the whole experience which was fine. In addition to this, I start my experience late, which was my fault because I gave them the wrong hotel name, but the company went out of their way to still come and get me which I appreciate. Sure if I hadn’t made the mistake I would started on time and had the fellucca boat. I was the only one on the boat which was nice. The guide was friendly and chatty which was good but on that day, I could’ve done with a less chatty guide just so to actually take in everything whilst on the nile. But i understand that he was only doing his job. I didn’t really care much for the banana island itself to be honest. Nevertheless, it was a really good experience overall.

Our guide was very friendly and chatty. Very nice person, the banna island people are all friendly, lots of shops to buy stuff from. They do try to get you to buy stuff but it’s fine to say no.

It was an excellent journey, both the captain and his companion were super friendly in everything, The landscapes and the atmosphere were ideal for enjoying and taking pictures.

It was easily worth the cost (around $25 total for my wife and I). Contacted via WhatsApp to arrange pickup at hotel. Driver was ontime and brought us to the boat. Climbed over 3 boats to get to the one we were taking (wasn't bad, just part of the experience). Boat was well shaded, all seats well-padded, and crew was extremely hospitable. Very little English but it really didn't matter. Boat was extremely stable and no bouncing or rocking. We were served hot tea and felt perfectly comfortable putting it down on a cushion (very smooth boat ride). Took us to an island, walked across an impromptu bridge/plank to disembark. Island was a corridor of banana trees, leading to a small zoo and gift shop area (toilet, etc there too). It was nice, but simple. We elected to eat banana back on boat, and the crew dropped us right back at our hotel (as our hotel was right on the water). It was easily 5 stars for the $. I've put it at 4 stars because the tour operator sent me 3 messages in a row, well after tour was done, each imploring me to write this review for them. I get it, reviews bring business.....so be warned the operator will be very insistent in asking

A very easy and organised from the very first to last second. Booked just some hours before the tour and everything run smoothly. Got a message and had a driver in our hotel at no time. The boat crew was amazing, spoke English and gave us a good
Time alongside music, dance and a tea to remember. Truly suggest this experience and if possible the 17:00 one so you can also enjoy the sunset and the photos taken by yours truly skipper of the boat.

Very nice experience! Fabulous scenery along the Nile river and very local life on banana island.

It was a great trip! Merna and Lucas organized everything perfectly! Lucas was great and attentive. Also Falucca guys Abdulah and Islam navigated a boat perfectly and made us excellent tea! The banana island was very interesting. Bananas tasted really good! At the end Lucas even helped us to change our hotel. Thank you Lucas. You are the best!
