- 阿达20180 条分享Many thanks to Antony, from ChinaI have been to Kenya twice. The first in 2013 January, the second in 2018 February. Both of them are guided by Antony. A few days ago I have booked air tickets with several of my friends. My third visit to Kenya would be in 2018 Octobor. Again, I have chosen Antony. If I were to visit Kenya 10 times or 100 times, I swear I would choose Antony for each time. Only with Antony's professional guiding in the parks, and with his thoughtful help in handling everything well during the whole trips, me and my friends all enjoyed Africa so much. The two trips had been very smooth, and fruiteful in experience. During the last trip, when it came to the end, in order to show our deep gratitude to Antony and Magdalene, me and my friends insisted inviting the family to have a meal together in a local restaurant in Nairobi. It was such good experience. I had taken some nice photos of the blessed family. Sorry that my English vocabulary is poor. I had better use photos to speak for themselves. We did a three day tour with John as our driver. He made us feel well taken care of and safe all the time. His skills for finding the animals are just amazing. The car had seen better days, but taking the “roads” into consideration, it could have been far worse. The only thing we missed was some sort of briefing before the drives. We can highly recommend both a John and the company.

Excellent service all throughout. Ben was great and patient to show us around the park, which is absolutely amazing. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Anthony was the best guide anyone could have asked for. You can tell that the animals there are his passion and he is always happy to give as much information as you can handle. He always would go above and beyond to ensure we had the ultimate Safari experience. Would recommend to anyone!

Failure to provide the service I paid for on three occasions. Shallow justifications were given, however the service should have been provided regardless, as a commitment was made, as it was not delivered, I requested a partial refund. This was denied. Three failures of service occurred:
1. They did not pick me up on the day that I booked for. I had not cancelled. I had to book another hotel night as a result, unable to refund the night I was due to stay there after the safari. Expected a refund to the cost of the hotel.
2. They did not provide the morning safari I booked. They blamed this on park permits changing. I opted not to pay an extra permit, so I expected a refund for the driver that day as the safari did not go ahead.
3. They did not arrange a hotel drop off, I had to get dropped off at someone else's hotel and arrange an Uber myself.
This meant I had to pay for another night at the hotel, arrange my own transport back, and missed a morning of safari. And to add to that, the customer service was shocking. Shouting over me on the phone, leaving the explanation to the driver when they knew beforehand, just not acceptable.
They even made the other tourists wait in an unsafe area on the streets of Nairobi, fortunately I did not have to do this. They also seemed unable to grasp why I tipped the driver (great service) but still had these complaints.
If you do not want to risk an experience of a lifetime, I suggest going with other companies.

Dear lewis, thank you for taking time to give us a review, once again we apologize that our services did not meet your expectation.
we have had discussed this via whatsapp and viator, but i will address here again.
1) you booked the 3days safari via viator o 11th june and the safari was 22nd july. The booking form requires you to provide your phone number and pick-up point, if you don't have pick up point yet you are required to provide later. You provided a number that was not reachable either by call or whatsapp, i later learnt you are using a different number, you never provided pickup point, i tried even writing on viator platform, no answer, email no answer, by evening of 21st(day before safari) no answers, despite having your hotel booked at masai mara, we didn't know if you are still on for your safari because you were unreachable and don't know where to pick you up hence we cancelled the accommodation of which being last minute we lose 100% and transport.
You reached out a night (a few hours to your safari) i told you that we have cancelled and you said if we are not sorting you in an hours time you would cancel and book another safari and i told you yes you can actually cancel and get a 100%, i also gave you two other options: proceed with your safari but in a tour van instead of jeep because we had canceled the jeep or go a day after.
You settle for starting the safari a day after (23rd) saying that you have an extra day in nairobi. I was shocked that a week after safari you requested for a refund to cater for that night you spend in nairobi. how are we obligated to pay for your nairobi hotel that you already had a night planned for? why was this not raised when settling for that option but only a week after safari? I have screen shots, wish they can be attached.
nb: For masai mara we paid three night instead of two, this is because the night you didn't go was also charged since they don't accept last minute cancellation.
2. Regarding last day game drive, yes park rules changed from 1st july and one ticket for masai mara which was supposed to be valid for 24hours now is 12 hours, meaning 3days we used to pay 2tickets at the tie of your booking but now you need 3tickets, this affected everyone who had booked a safari before july especially if your accommodation is out side the park because third day you cannot be allowed inside unless you buy a 3rd ticket, this was explained to all affected and some paid the extra $80 but others decided to not do the last day morning game drive, in your group you were 8people and it affected all of you but for you you are asking for a refund, you actually made the driver to go back to the gate from your accommodation for more explanation because you did not trust us. Government rules are beyond us and we could not afford to pay $80 per person for everyone who was affected, hence why the terms and conditions mention government rules.
3. You told the driver to drop you at your friends hotel the last day that you would arrange your, little did he know that you would ask for a refund, we actually refunded you the uber money trough viator, we have a receipt for that.
4. No customer service talked to you in Nairobi, the only point you talked to our customer service was when you were at masai mara and didn't believe the driver regarding the entrance fee and no one shouted at you, its at the same point that driver stopped to explain to you we don't understand where clients were stopped at the streets of Nairobi.
The other clients also tried their level best to explain to you so that atleast you could save on their time.

Great experience! It was my first time doing a safari and this was amazing! Our guide took great care of us and our needs, scoped out faithfully for sights to see, and shared in humorous and informative experiences. Loved this safari and I would recommend Big Mac safari’s to anybody.

Big Mac is the best Safari company guides. Anthony is the best Guide. We saw amazing animals and wonderful pictures. Loved our experience. I highly recommend this company and you will be sure to have a great experience with wonderful animal experiences.

We totally enjoyed our safari trip to Masai Mara organised by Bigmac Safaris. We were provided with a detailed itinerary and getting more info was quick and easy. Our travel guide and driver, Michael was a lovely guy and we enjoyed his company during the three days. His experience meant that we managed to get the most out of the game drives and the trip from and back to Nairobi.
I would book any future safaris with Bigmac.

We chose to arrange our safari our selves instead of engaging a travel agency in Denmark. We found Bigmac Africa Safaris and contacted Magdalene. She helped us make a perfect trip, made just for us and another family, just to our liking. It was always easy to get in contact with Magdalene, who always answered all our questions.
We were on a 7 days safari and visited Ambuseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara, two days each. And what a treat!! Our driver, Anthony (as well as the other family's driver, Joseph) were knowledgable, flexible and good company. They drove us safely on the highways as well as at the gravelroads in the parks, and they were amazing at finding the animals we wanted to see.
I would like to give my warmest recommendations to Bicmac Africa Safaris, Magdalene, Anthony and Joseph. They really gave us an incredibly good experience we will remember always.
We were on a 7 days safari and visited Ambuseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara, two days each. And what a treat!! We actually did 3 nights in the Mara and then flew down to Diani Beach everything was arranged by Bigmac Safaris.
From our pick up at hotel in Nairobi to the end of our safari everything was smooth and professional. Our driver/guide Joseph, was a great driver both in the city and in the game park. We saw every type of animal and bird that you could wish to see and Joseph was knowledgeable and most importantly a really nice guy. It was a pleasure to spend 4 great days in his company.
Please use a local tour company if you’re planning to visit Kenya it helps the economy which helps the game parks survive.

This Safari was by far the best out of the 4 Safaris parks we've been to. Our guide Anthony was incredible and went the extra mile. He made sure we saw the big 5 and yes he found a black rhino. it was spectacular!! 23 plus lions, 20 plus hyenas, 3 leopards, and thousands of other animals. i would highly suggest this company and ask for Anthony. I've had 4 other Safari guides at other parks and Anthony was by far the best. The other personal touch is magdalene in the office doing the reservation. She took time and is excellent!!
