This was a last minute request on my side. And Oled was very reactive and was able to arrange a tour for me on time. Right before I had to leave for the airport. Can't ask for a better service.
As for the visit itself, the farm visit was nice. Though we didn't get to pick up some tea leaves :) The food served was really delicious.
PS: The farm owner is a very nice british lady. Not a local.

I had a great trip to Kiambethu Tea Farm with Obed as my driver. The farm was beautiful, the tour was informative, and the lunch was amazing! Would highly recommend!

Our driver Paul promptly picked us up at our hotel in Nairobi and took us to the tea farm. We had a wonderful time listening to Fiona's stories and history of her farm. Well worth the money. The multi-course lunch was great. When we were done with our meal, Paul took us back to our starting point. I would highly recommend the tour and don't hesitate to ask for Paul as your driver!

My tour guide Obed was very kind and informative. The drive to the tea farm alone was full of information ! The tea tour itself is short but enough. And the meal on the farm was amazing. The set up / staff were extremely kind . I think it’s a unique experience that anyone can enjoy (even solo).

Fiona and her staff were so lovely, friendly. Humble, and inviting. The tour exceeded all of my expectations. The grounds were beautiful, the tea was delicious, the luncheon and tea and treats were yummy, and I learned so much about the tea making process. I met amazing people, enjoyed the walk, and would recommend this to anyone visiting the Nairobi area.

This tea farm is in a beautiful area very near to Nairobi. The host is a lady, she is the owner, and her property is unbelievable. She has such a garden which are described in the fairy tales and a fantastic old house. The whole environment is amazing. She also provided lunch, which was very tasty. The place is good for solos and for families too.

I booked the tour last minute (Friday night for Saturday morning) and was fortunate to get Obed as my driver and guide. A very safe driver, informative, and friendly person that I highly recommend as a guide.
I have been to tea estates in India, China, Malaysia, etc. and this was certainly one of the best tours. Not only is Kiambethu farm in a beautiful location but we had a triple experience: learning how tea is produced in Kenya with Fiona, exploring medicinal plants in the forest with Julius, and a tasty and plentiful lunch on the lawn. Being hosted by the granddaughter (Fiona) of the original farmer was an extra treat. She was a delightful hostess. Highly recommended 6-hour visit.

A lovely experience and a welcome change from the hectic energy of Nairobi city! Moses was our guide and we appreciated his punctuality and great driving skills. He gave us a helpful overview of the history of Nairobi and the part tea and coffee played in the economy of the country. We arrived early at the tea farm and had plenty of time to explore the lovely flower gardens that surround the main house. Very tranquil with sweeping views of tea fields in the distance.
Fiona is the granddaughter of the man who started Kiambethu Farm in the early 1900's and she was a wonderful guide and hostess. The actual tour and lunch went from 11 am to 3 pm and we highly recommend this experience if you have time while in Nairobi.
