Excellent trip rganizator I can just recommend, so easy to communicate, value for the money and so nice personnel, always in time. We had Masai Mara and Mount Kenya trips and they organized everything pick up from airport until to train to Mombasa and everything between. Just great 😃.

Our 3-day safari with Karibu Safaris was an excellent experience! The tour guide, Raymond, was knowledgeable and friendly, making our adventure in the Masai Mara more enjoyable. My wife and I had the chance to witness some of the most incredible wildlife sightings, including a group of elephants crossing our path and a pride of lions on a hunt! In short we saw all th big 5. The accommodations provided by Karibu Safaris were first-class and exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic time and will definitely choose Karibu Safaris again for our next Kenyan adventure!

There were some positives to this safari, but there were many things done poorly.
The positives are that the safari experience is great in terms of the wildlife seen. And the accommodation provided at Lake Nakuru was quite nice.
They may prioritize private groups and those who are doing only 2 nights better than what they did for us.
The negatives
(1) We have emailed Robert, the organizer, of all of these issues 17 days ago, and we still have not heard anything back
(2) We booked the safari 6 weeks in advance. Yet they were incredibly unorganized.
A) Yet we had to transfer to three different lodges at Masai Marai before they found the correct accommodation.
B) They failed to reserve a driver for us to get to Lake Nakuru, which led to a 2.5 hour wait. When we did meet with the driver, they prioritized the request from their group members to see Lake Navishai which led to a 2 hour detour. We had already done Navishai the earlier in our stay as this was not planned into our itinerary. (4.5 hours wasted for no benefit)
C) The tour guide cut down on our time during the Lake Nakuru game drive to complete the tour 60 minutes before the allotted time
D) The tour guide/company did not have the courtesy to drop us off back to the accommodation, but rather stopped 10 minutes from the accommodation at a fuel station and we had to arrange our own Uber as the company did not organize a transfer drive appropriately. First time during any tours completed across the globe where the tour operator did not drop us back home.
(3) The tour guides were a lot less knowledgeable in comparison to range drivers in South Africa, Tanzania and Botsawana.
Overall poor experience. Quite disappointed and there are better priced companies out there too.

Abbiamo prenotato il safari due notti e tre giorni.
All'arrivo la mattina nei loro uffici erano disorganizzati, ci hanno lasciato fermi per un'ora e mezza dentro il gip mentre tutti gli altri gip erano già usciti. Per evitare di arrivare troppo tardi alla prima partita, la guida suggerisce di fermarci a pranzo a metà strada, peccato che sia stato a nostro carico quando invece era compreso nel prezzo della prenotazione.
In fase di prenotazione specifico che voglio una guida parlante italiano, mi confermano la disponibilità. La guida era inglese, a nulla sono servite le mail inviate a Karibu che non hanno risolto la situazione (tra l'altro ci hanno chiesto di mandargli la LORO conferma della guida italiana, assurdo).
Il terzo giorno nella descrizione doveva esserci un gioco prima di colazione e uno dopo colazione. Alla fine del secondo giorno, arrivati al campo tendato, la guida ci informa che il terzo giorno non ci sarebbe stata partita perché il il secondo giorno era stato abbastanza lungo, quindi le ore del safari erano soddisfatte. Tuttavia, ho pagato per qualcos'altro e che mi è stato detto all'ultimo minuto senza risposta, senza sapere che non sarei più stato nella savana, era molto sbagliato. Ci hanno privato di due partite che avevamo pagato!
Unica nota positiva, la guida è stata bravissima, gentile ma non consiglierei MAI questa compagnia.

We had an amazing 3 days 2 nights safari with Karibu. Our group had 8 people with 4 vehicles. The customer service team was very helpful with the queries we had. We were picked up on time and were taken to the camp on time. The drier was very good and took us to see all the animals we wanted to see. We were also picked up on time on the last day. The food was good. The tents were clean. The only suggestion is to improve on the quality of the tents. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Karibu to our friends/family.

This was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We were brilliantly looked after by Our hosts. We saw all the animals we could have wished for barring a leopard but were particularly delighted with the knowledge and experience of driver , Simon , who also looked after all the details of our Safari with great care. Now we want to do it again with our children and grand children.

Complete scam!
I wanted to join a group throughout the trip. When I called they said they have that option. Turns out they mean you join other groups that booked with other companies but only on the bus, but you stay at different camps and eat separately. Obviously not what I meant being a solo traveler wanting to join a group.
In writing, it says 4*4 van but a wreck of a microbus showed up.
They said pick up up from Nairobi was at 6:30am. They picked me up at 8:30am.
Guide spoke very little English, or any of the other languages I would have understood. The guide was also the driver and drove so stupidly fast, we had to wear our face masks as a shield against the dust coming in through the windows - and we were constantly thrown around. He also stuffed everyone's luggage at the back and everytime he opened the door, everything fell out. And, they were supposed to provide water, he didn't and said he we had to buy our own until everyone objected.
Then we come to the camp. In writing, it says I would be staying at Enchoro camp. Of course others in this 'group joining' tour were staying at other camps. He drives right past Enchoro camp and takes me to one called La Enchada. And no amount of reasoning would convince the guide we're not at the place I supposedly booked at.
I decided to leave them and do a private tour instead because i didn't want to find out what else was not what they said/wrote it would be. Best decision ever! I found a great guide and thoroughly enjoyed the trip without this fruad of a company.

Thanks for your feedback.
Your pick up location was at ILRI which is outside the city center enroute to safari and on our safari program it was written pick up at 6.30am and we applogised as our transport manager confused it with ISIPE hence making your pick up time to be 8.30am.
On our website we sell Masai Mara budget accommodation at Enchoro, But During low season camps tend to close down for major renovations hence Enchoro had closed for renovations and we only had an option for other camp.
Group joining safaris is for group who can’t afford private and are staying at the same camps or accommodation next to each other like you had.
About the van bags falling I will follow up with the guide that had you and the other guest to listen to there side too as some of them wrote 5star reviews.
All our guest who take the group joining safaris are guest from our company that’s why all our safari vans and 4x4 Land cruiser are branded.
For your booking you booked a group joining safari with safari van and not 4x4 land cruiser but if you have prove of the please shear it.
Let me follow up with the other guest.

Tras mucho comparar por Internet, me decidí por reservar mi excursión para el Masai Mara de 3 días con esta empresa. Craso error.
Si bien se tomaban sus tiempos para contestar mis emails, la reserva se hizo sin mayor problema, para una habitación individual en el Mara Springs, lo cual me encargué de comprobar presencialmente en su oficina de Nairobi, dos días antes del inicio del viaje (donde ya me trataron con un tono de vacilación y poca seriedad).
El problema llegó el día de la actividad, donde me indican que tendré que compartir habitación con un desconocido porque hay mucha afluencia en el parque en esta temporada, que lo sienten, que tenga empatía, que sea proactivo, que lo aguante. Pues no. Porque una cosa es que haya un contratiempo de última hora y otra muy distinta es que aquí no haya seriedad por ningún lado. Pero claro, uno lleva el viaje programado al dedillo y no podía permitirme el gusto de buscar otra empresa que saliese en menos de 10 minutos al parque, así que accedí a ir con ellos, me hicieron una ridícula rebaja del precio que, gustosamente habría pagado para no compartir noche con el chico que me tocó, el cual también había pagado habitación individual y al cual poco más asusté entrando en 'su' tienda de campaña a usurparle la cama de al lado.
Respecto al planning dentro del Masai Mara decir que no se cumplió en absoluto. El primer día estuvimos 1 hora y media en la puerta comprobando nuestros pasaportes (éramos 9 personas solamente), y estuvimos una media hora en el parque, que nos regaló un atardecer rojizo de ensueño que pedí al conductor fotografiar y no me dejó, contestándome de manera borde y conduciendo al lado opuesto al del ocaso ya que solo quería irse.
El segundo día se aprovechó bastante bien y el guía pareció cambiar su carácter. No obstante, mismo resultado tratando de fotografiar el atardecer del día anterior.
El último día, que se presentaba como de aprovechar para ver el amanecer en el parque, nos obligaron a hacer una visita a la comunidad masai, sin opción a réplica, y vuelta a Nairobi, donde me dejaron en un lugar que no era el pactado.
Me quejé y se rieron de mí.
No recomiendo esta empresa en absoluto.

I was hoping that the good reviews are real, but I was a fool to think so. Karibu Safaris put us 9 people in a jeep when the maximum is always 7 people. They breach their specific promise since we asked multiple times to make sure that no more than 7 people will be in the jeep. They simply surprised us in the morning and we couldn't do anything about it.
It should be 6 in the back and one next to the driver maximum, but they decided to make extra money on our back and had 8 people (one sat in the back with no window view) and also a small kid ( so 9 people in total ). Moreover, they tried to lodge two of us in a single room where we clearly booked private rooms.
