We had an excellent package by Baboon Budjet safari . Our tour guide Jackson was on point. He gave us good details about the animals and their behaviour .
Daniel or rep organised a great package and the accomdation at jambo Mara lodge was exceptional! Great value for money ! Rooms weee posh and very clean

Hello everyone! I’m strongly recommended BABOONBUDGETSAFARIES.👍👍👍 After booking the Safari the representatives of the company get started to write me immediately and always answering on the whole my questions. It was amazing experience that we have ever had in our life. We managed to see so much animals due to our guide Bonniface (Bonney). We see giraffes, leopards, Cheeta’s, buffaloes, lions, elephant and so on. Special thanks to him 👏. He met us at night in the airport. Tell a lot of interesting facts about animals. His driving skills on a high level and we hadn’t got stucked. Some drivers from another tourist company have been stucked many times. In this situation you’re waste of time to managed it. We have even a free WI-Fi. So you can stay always online. It was long way to get to the Masai Mara Park but you’ll never been disappointed. You’ll get so much energy and adrenaline. 😀😀😀

We had an amazing trip through the Masai Mara thanks to our driver Anthony who was always very knowledgeable! Strongly recommended

I originally booked through a different safari company but as a solo traveler, I guess they didn't want to provide the service so it appears they kind of "sold me off" to Baboon Budget Safaris. I'm so glad they did!
My driver was Anthony and we had another solo traveler like me on the safari. Anthony is a great driver, super knowledgeable, funny and was constantly making sure we were doing okay. We stayed at Miti Mingi Eco Camp. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is good, owner was friendly, bed was comfortable, pillows were nice, shower was hot, electricity worked fine, etc. He even let me borrow a towel because I forgot mine.
Both days with game drives were beyond words. We saw gazelles, giraffes, cheetahs, leopard, water buffalo, elephants, jackos, hyenas, elends, wildebeasts, warthogs, etc. But the true highlight came after Anthony worked his magic and we found a pride of lions. Shortly after we arrived, they made an attempt to kill a huge water buffalo! The hunt was unsuccessful but it was still a site I will never forget. We had a nice picnic in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Anthony knows everything about what we saw; the animals, plants, birds, etc. He could answer all our questions.
On the last day, we had a nice visit at a Maasai village. Also, such a wonderful experience.
I will return to Kenya again. This was my second time here already but it was my first safari experience. I want to come back again with my family. When I do, I will not even consider booking with another company. I will book with Baboon Budget Safaris and I will request that Anthony be our guide. I highly recommend this company who wants to have amazing memories of their time in the Maasai Mara.

Anthony, our guide, did put our needs first and was able to find all the cats for us. He is a professional and knows a lot about the animals. It was amazing to get to spends the three day safari in Masai Mara with him. He is very nice, easygoing and seems to enjoy his work a lot. Would recommend him to anyone! Five out of five and extra points!!

Mansour, that's the game driver you should ho with.
Very professional.
It was my 1st tíme in safari and i spotted 4 out of Big five.
Everything was good, accomodation, food, game driving, etc.
People do not forget medicine 🙈 i get diarrehea during whole my trip. Thats not easy to manage without medicine 😂
I was thinking either to take anti-malaris druhá (which i did in the end), but its not necessary. So its Up to you (but use repelent for sure).
Price and service i get from baboon is fair. I get a hint from my friend to use baboon and i suggest to other people do the same. Very reliable company (they even picked me from my home, which is quite far from centre and drop me back afterwards).

As someone who has done safari in several African countries, I have to say that Baboon Budget Safari was by far the worst safari operator I ever had. It started right at the beginning in their office when they gave us a terrible exchange rate for the part we paid in Shilling (we lost more than $100 because of that. At least we got some of it back after the safari after several protests). It was not only that but also the lies that this would be the normal rate due to Covid-19 and we would not get a better rate if we change it by ourselves in Nairobi (which was complete nonsense). Also, the card machine was suddenly not working anymore when we said we want to pay the remainer by card. Moreover, we were told that no more than 5 people will be in the car. In the end, we were the only two tourists, however, 4 staff member joined the tour (to fill the car?!) and during the whole trip it felt more like we were guests on their company expedition than customers. Corona measures? Zero! Nobody was wearing a mask plus all the staff members were constantely talking and giggeling.
The only one who is not to blame was our guide Anthony, who did actually a decent job. Still, the overall experience with that company was just bad and if I read the other 1* reviews I am not surprised about what I read. All in all, I cannot recommend this company because the people who work for Baboon Budget Safaris are unprofessional and dishonest.

I was on three days safari in Masai Mara with my wife and two children (at the beginning of February 2020). Our tour guide was Anthony and he was great. He was kind and I liked his driving style.
We saw lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopard, giraffes, antelopes, hippos, crocodile, monkeys.
Masai Mara is beautiful place.
And we were satisfied with services of Baboon Budget Safaris company.
