Many thanks to Antony, from China
I have been to Kenya twice. The first in 2013 January, the second in 2018 February. Both of them are guided by Antony. A few days ago I have booked air tickets with several of my friends. My third visit to Kenya would be in 2018 Octobor. Again, I have chosen Antony. If I were to visit Kenya 10 times or 100 times, I swear I would choose Antony for each time. Only with Antony's professional guiding in the parks, and with his thoughtful help in handling everything well during the whole trips, me and my friends all enjoyed Africa so much. The two trips had been very smooth, and fruiteful in experience. During the last trip, when it came to the end, in order to show our deep gratitude to Antony and Magdalene, me and my friends insisted inviting the family to have a meal together in a local restaurant in Nairobi. It was such good experience. I had taken some nice photos of the blessed family. Sorry that my English vocabulary is poor. I had better use photos to speak for themselves. Amazing tour!

It was an amazing tour. We spent six day with excellent experience, and I encourage people to join this tour in the future.
The driver named Danielle is great. He is so kind and helpful.

Greatest family trip! Our kids loved it!

We just returned home to Utah from a week long spring break Safari trip with Big Mac safari. It was our first time to Africa and it was amazing! Great experience start to finish. Antony went above and beyond to do his best to find the big 5 and it was a success. We saw so many animals and stayed at awesome camps with great service and great food. We’ll recommend BigMac to anyone we know who plans to go to Kenya for a safari!

Amazing Experience!

Excellent Tour and Guide. Lodging and meals were better than expected. We would recommend Big Mac Safari's and recommend you ask for Ben Njuguna as your tour guide. Ben's experience and knowledge of the parks was exceptional. He knew where to look and when to stay and be patient to see the all the animals, not just the Big Five. We were fortunate enough to see not just the Big Five, but the Big Six (The Leopard). Communication before the Safari was excellent. The tour company made sure the hotels and staff were aware of some dietary needs and they were right on time picking us up. We noticed several other tour companies whose guides rushed their customers and did not seem to take the time or energy to show all the beauty of the parks and various animals. We highly recommend Big Mack Safari's to anyone considering a Safari in Kenya.

NO CONTRATÉIS NADA CON ELLOS, es un error.

La peor decisión de todo el viaje a Kenia fue contratar a esta empresa.
El primer día les pagamos TODA la cantidad que nos pedían, confiando en la empresa. ERROR, no lo hagáis.
El primer día se estropeó el coche y dos veces y estuvimos toda una tarde sin nuestras maletas y pertenencias porq el coche estuvo 36 horas en el taller, la empresa no nos queria mandar un nuevo coche (aunque decian que si era necesario lo harian, MENTIRA).
A la noche nos dijeron que el día siguiente a las 6am el coche y el driver estarían en el hotel para poder hacer el safari por Masai Mara. ¿Qué pasó? No apareció nadie y tuvimos que arreglarlo nosotros hablando con los del hotel y BigMac. Para nuestra sorpresa nuestro driver John, solo había pagado la mitad del dia y no el dia completo al nievo driver para poder hacer el safari. Por lo que tuvimos q negociar y volver a discutir.

Y asi, dia tras dia. John, el driver, a partir de las 4pm nos queria dejar en el hotel y se iba, con nuestra gasolina, a no sabemos dónde. La empresa continuamente le justifica. Y CADA DIA, CADA TARDE, tenemos q discutir con la empresa y con el driver. No teniendo NINGUNA libertad para movernos a donde queremos y cuando queremos. El sexto dia tenemos una grandísima discusión con John, el cual no aparece durante todo el día. Volvemos a llamar a la empresa y esta vez nos mandan a un nuevo driver y coche, porque John tampoco les coge a ellos el teléfono. Parece que todo mejora con Sthepen, muy majo, pero NO. Nuestra sorpresa viene cuando, después del pésimo servicio y toooodos los problemas, la empresa nos pide dinero por la gasolina (como el driver no estaba casi nunca con nosotros y no hizo NI GUN safari con nosotros, ¿quién sabe cuanta gasolina se gasto realmente?).

Despues de OTRA grandisima discusion y poder dejar atras de una vez toda la experiencia negativa, les pagamos TODO lo que nos piden a cambio de que nos devuelvan las zapatillas de uno de nosotros q estaban en el coche de John y llevabamos 4 dias sin ellos, tampoco eso es importante.

En resumen, solo quieren DINERO y ahorrar lo máximo con un servicio practicamente inexistente porque todas las solucciones las buscas tú. son MUY POCO PROFESIONALES y no confíes en ningún momento en ellos, en especial ni en John ni en Marjolein (la de la oficina).

Estimado Negue, Gracias por tomarse el tiempo para darnos la evaluación. Primero, no reservó el safari bajo el cual escribió la reseña. Usted contrató un vehículo y un conductor cuyo combustible debía ser proporcionado por usted. Como te dije antes, hemos estado alquilando vehículos durante más de 10 años y rara vez tenemos averías, pero cuando sucede, siempre debemos asegurarnos de que sus actividades no se vean afectadas porque entendemos que la mayoría de las veces es algo de por vida y no querríamos arruinarlo, pero podría haber inconvenientes mínimos que son inevitables, la verdad sea dicha, cualquier vehículo puede averiarse, pero lo rápido que se soluciona la situación es lo que importa. Experience of a lifetime!

Prices were very good for the accomodations and jeep. Joseph, our guide/driver was absolute adorble and amazing. So kind and knowledgeable about animals we saw. He went out of his way to accommodate my picky-eater American 7 year-old for meals while traveling from one park to another. I left my make-up bag at the last lodge and Joseph went back to retrieve it and shipped it to me to my hotel in Zanzibar!!!! I highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing trip with Bigmac Safaris and Omar in Kenya!

With the help of Magdalena we planned and adjusted the tour after our individual wishes. Even a very spontaneous change of our starting point was no problem.
In Nairobi, we were picked up by our driver Omar.
Omar spoke English and German fluently and gave us a comfortable feeling.
Even though there were far distances to go, Omar was always relaxed and drove us safe and sound from highlight to highlight. With his very good local knowledge, his good connection to other guides, his commitment and particularly outstanding driving skills, he brought us quickly and as close as possible to the top animal spots! Thanks to his deep knowledge of the wildlife and the different resorts, it was not unusual to be the first car in place to track the big cats!
Thank you Omar and the whole Bigmac Safaris team for this amazing tour!

Perfect Getaway to the “Bush”

This trip was everything we could have hoped for and more! We had Ben as our guide and he was the best we could have asked for! He was great about pointing out the animals and prepping us for what we needed for the day. He made this a no stress, all enjoyment experience. He was also great about answering our questions and giving us advice as we traveled on. The parks themselves have a great view of the diversity of Kenya. The drives themselves were also a great chance to see more of the country (“depending with traffic”) Thank you BigMac and especially Ben for such a great experience. Can’t recommend this enough!

Absolutely worth it!

My husband and I went for a 5 day trip covering all the highlights with regards to Safari in Kenya starting with Amboseli and finishing off with Naivasha.

Maggie, our tour consultant was extremely professional and accommodating and gave us the best service possible at really good price.

Ben was the best tour guide and we got lucky with his expertise he has over 15+ years.

I would highly recommend to go with Bigmac Safaris if you want to truly experience an unforgettable and adventurous vacation in Kenya.
