My sister and I took a seven night safari with Tanius tours visiting Amboseli Lakes' Nakuru, Naivasha and Maasai mara. The entire trip was exceptional. Everything was extremely well-scheduled and proceeded without a hitch. Special thanks to our Safari guide Ben, he was amazing in assuring everyone could spot the animals and experience their habitats while feeling safe in very close proximity.
One night, while being escorted to our tent, we walked up on a huge bull elephant standing in the path grazing on a bush. We calmly took refuge under a nearby structure until the elephant left. At that point, it all became quite real: having a face to face encounter with such a giant animal.
We didn't feel rushed and the itinerary provided us with a once in a lifetime opportunity to come face to face with Africa's wildlife of which we saw in plenty and wide variety.
Thanks for such a great experience!”

Just concluded our 9-day long family safari in Kenya. Tanius Ltd arranged a great safari for us with all our wishes being addressed to detail. All communications from day one were on point and timely.
We visited Tsavo, Amboseli,Lake Naivasha, Nakuru and the Maasai mara. All the stops were amazing with beautifully sculptured landscapes.
Our guide Geoffrey said were extremely lucky to have seen all the Big five wildlife of Africa (rhino, lion, elephant, buffalo, and leopard) we saw leopards several times including a hunt as well as very rare sighting of wild dogs, cheetahs, elephants in large herds and many other small and big animals as well including many species of birds.
We stayed in lodges throughout the safari which was quite an adventure and a bit of luxury. The lodges were carefully selected by Tanius Tours for us, with wildlife roaming freely around the compound, this really complimented our stay- good value for our money. At one point we had very close view of two adult lions walking past our room balcony, this was absolutely amazing. Food was delicious and in variety, each lodge had it’s own unique.
The main man was our guide Geoffrey who seemed to understand the bush very well as great knowledge of animal behavior, this helped us very much in pulling out each and every animal we wished for, he was a particularly thorough guide as he had vast knowledge of the wildlife, birds, even trees as well as the history of the places we visited, without him, I doubt we would have had such a brilliant experience. He drove the jeep in a very safe way and we always found ourselves fast asleep during transit. I must also mention that the Jeep was also in excellent condition.
The only downside that really affected our trip was that we did not have any cameras with us as the airline had misplaced our luggage containing our cameras, binoculars etc-we were lucky to have it recovered albeit after the safari.
I would highly recommend Tanius Ltd for anyone out there looking for a stress free safari experience with great guiding (very important).
