Everything was amazing from start to finish! From the initial contact with Anne (who also was available for any questions during the trip!) to meeting our lovely driver James, to seeing the first lions and lastly getting back to the airport.
The route was thoughtfully planned and chosen and so were the hotels/lodges which were all truly amazing and comfortable. We liked Flamigo Hill Camp the most, but all of them were very nice.
Our guide James Magi is the best! Such a sweet soul and always there for a funny story. He knows about all the animals and also taught us as much about Kenyan culture as he could in the short time we had. We consider ourselves very lucky to have met him. And we miss him already! Asante sana James for everything. Amazing memories were made, definitely.
We need to go back one day!

Just got back from a day trip in Nairobi! We started off going to the Kobe Strong artist co-op where the ladies welcomed us with open arms and we got to see first hand how some of the beautiful African ceramic beads are hand made. Then on to the Sheldrick elephant orphanage, where we spent an hour getting to pet baby elephants which was a once in a lifetime experience. Then off to the Karen Blixen Museum, lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and Cottages. Another awesome experience was feeding Kelly and Eddie - the Rothchild giraffes at the Giraffe center. And before heading back to our hotel for the evening, stopping at a cute souvenir stand.
Paul and Anne were our driver and guide and they did an awesome job. Everywhere we went they knew someone, and we were treated like family. Tomorrow we will be getting picked up by another driver the rest of our Amazing Safari and will leave another review at the end!
