Worst driver/tour guide

The booking experience was smooth and easy with the booking agent. However, they assigned me to Sammy, the driver/tour guide. From day one it was very hard to communicate with the driver. He didn't responded to all my texts. and during the tour he hardly ever talked. He didn't explain much about the places we are visiting and the only thing he was mentioning was the name of animals. All the days we started the game drive very late in the the morning when the animals are less active and we didn't see as many animal as if we would have started early in the morning. The worst of all he driver left without me on the last day. Just imagine yourself in the middle of nowhere in the foreign country.

Hello Ehsan, Thank you for taking your time to write us your feedback. You did book a 4 day tour with us and requested to be dropped in Naivasha, we did as you requested. Sammy had guests doing a 5 day tour and by coincidence you met them in Naivasha. The guests you were with during the 4 days tour were uncomfortable with you travelling back with them as your safari ended at 4 days and theirs was a private 5th day and as such denied you joining them to Nairobi, Sammy was just the messenger("Don't kill the messenger") even though you did not like the message he passed to you. We also went out of our way to look for alternative transport for you back to Nairobi free of charge even though your tour with us ended on day 4 and this incident happened on Day 5 and as such you were not stranded in the middle of nowhere. Kindly share information that is truthful and not the one that favors your side of the story. Best regards ,Mercy.

Lovely safari but questionable management

The Safari experience itself was nice! The driver was kind, the hosts of the places of stay were lovely. Note that although it says all entry fees should be included in this price, I was told after booking when I contacted them regarding another inquiry that the entry fee for the Masaai Mara national park had increased and we should pay an additional 40 dollars per person. It does not say here although they told me that this change was made way before we booked this trip, meaning they should have updated the price on this site as well - which they still have not done. This was also not communicated to my partner via email or any other source, but only to me through Whatsapp when I contacted them first about something else, which to me seemed questionable. Moreover, as we were a group of 4 additional people that had booked the same safari trip, they had not received any such information and did not have to pay this extra fee. When questioning them about this I was met with a very disappointing attitude and no actual explanation other than that they had informed us about this weeks before the trip so if I was not willing to pay, then I should have just cancelled the trip (although by then we did not know that only us 2 had to pay extra money). They told us this is automatically regulated by the government, yet it only concerned me and my partner out of our group of 6 people. Therefore, I am disappointed by the management responsible for organizing this, but for the safari experience itself, the driver and the hosts of the places we stayed we are happy and grateful!

Hello Diana. Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the tour that we organised for you. I will pass your compliments to the driver and hosts. Regardless,I think it is very impolite for you to misadvise other tripadvisor readers about how the payment plan was conducted. I clearly explained to you about how the tour is conducted and different payment handling for different people we had on the same tour, but you fail to understand. Entry fees are determined and proposed by the government, we cannot change to proposed entry fee by the government until they are approved by the government and by which we explained immediately you made the booking on WhatsApp. When the entry fee was approved we notified immediately you and you agreed to pay the extra fee. It is through such reviews that make us improve but I think this review is impolite and should be pulled down. Kind regards Shadrack

Masai mara and Nakuru budget tour

Well coordinated tour. Hatts off to Mercy ( tour coordinator) for arranging such a wonderful and memorable tour. You just tell her your requirements she will arrange it for you.
Our Safari driver was also fabulous. He has a very good knowledge of the surroundings and animals. This made the tour knowledgeable. Thanks a lot team.

Amazing experience in Kenya

It was amazing experience in Kenya!! My driver was so professional and he brought us many animals! Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru was awesome. The tour was very organized so I definitely recommend it!
