So Me and My Partner booked to do the full day tour from a recommendation from a friend of ours who had done it before.
We got collected in the morning nice and early. The tour was going ok until we hit the old town. It was a hot day so we did walk quickly, now I understand that you have to take things a little fast because you have to try and get everything in. There were 16 in our party and before I go on my Partner has Terminal cancer and cant walk that fast and you could see that from when we got on and off the buss to walking round the markets. So we were walking round the old town and we gets to the fish market and we were the last in and last out. I noticed they had walked into a very nice gift shop. We wondered over and was greeted by the tour guild and was told to look at the jewellery at the top of the store. So we again wondered up some stairs to look around the very lovely jewellery. My partner in the passed has made some peace's of jewellery so was taking in all this hand made peace's. We looked around for a little while and he Said after looking round upstairs come down to the gift shop and have a look round. I got to the gift shop only to find that there was nobody in the store. to looked all round and couldn't see anyone. NO guild or people from the tour.
Now back to there was 16 people on the tour. How do you lose 2 people from 16 it was a joke. My partner is now pancaking because we had walked through all these ally ways She thought we would never be able to find our way back.
Luckily the security guy said the tour went that way and pointed towards a road that they went down. I proceeded to go ahead and see if i could see them around the corner. Nothing, Nobody. Went back to get Sandra and we started walking up a road we didn't know were we where going but and by luck it took us back to the square were we dropped off. If it wasn't for the coach drive who recognised us i think we would still be there. I was there we waited on the bus for there return. He then came back after a long time with no apology and told us to get off the bus and onto another but which would take us back to our hotel. At this point we told him we were on the full day tour. He we more bothered with 4 people from Holland then us two. He then told us to wait over there with these other 4 people. Another bus came along and picked us up for some lunch at a beautiful hotel on the water. I was only then he recognised he had to say sorry but you could tell he didn't mean it. He blamed it on having to many people. He also said he came back to look for us which again is bs.
He would have passed us to get back the the gift shop. Just to top it off he had already asked the other 4 people what they wanted for lunch. On the bus he laughed and said do you want stake or fish? he proceeded to talk to the other 4 for the rest of the afternoon and almost left me behind at the zoo because i want wanted the toilet.
The reason this review is not one is because of the Restaurant Tamarind. The food and views were amazing and worth a trip its self. The second thing is Hala Park. Feeding the giraffes by hand in very special.
Very disappointed with the guild and it also took 3 and 1/2 hours to get home.
