长城比想象中难爬一些，台阶很陡峭，很高。带老人小孩去的时候，可以坐缆车。节假日人会很多，所以还是要挑个淡季去比较好。

我们去的很早，5点开车出发，去的时候人很少，爬起来也比较舒服，但是有的地方真的是超级超级陡，一定要穿的舒服点，带点吃的喝的，10点的时候下山人超级多，所以早点来比较好

但是做了一半缆车上去，然后再爬上长城的，长城的城墙有的已经有风化破损了，但是长在长城放眼四周，景色很美！

到长城后有左右两面可以攀爬，一面比较陡，另一面则较缓。两面都爬下来真的很累，但能领略不同的风景也很高兴。对喽，其中一个方向还有动物园。有卖熊猫帽子的，很可爱。

This is a nice renovated part of the Great Wall. We were happy to visit it during the week so there were not so many tourists. The tour was well organized by Mr Kong

Kavin was polite and friendly, he arrived on the time at the hotel, was helpful and has contact with us days before and give us some direction for that day.

The trip was really well planned and smooth. Violet who was my guide, was super friendly and helpful, and doesn’t hesitate to provide many tips and guidance throughout the trip. She was punctual and greeted me at the hotel before we left without a hassle. The car ride was smooth and comfy too! Try to go earlier (before 8am departure if you’re from Beijing inner city) so you avoid the big crowds in the late morning. Violet also gave me lots of information about the Great Wall before she left me to explore as I wished. After the trip she offered more tips on things to do in Beijing before dropping me off at another tourist spot. She definitely made me feel very much welcomed in the city!

I had a great trip with David. Easy coordination to get picked up at my hotel and safe driving to the Great Wall. I was free to tour the site at my own pace, which was great! I would recommend this tour for people who prefer a less structured experience.

Kevin was a great guide during my trip to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall! I was alone, so it was a private trip and he was so kind to take great pictures with this talent and patience :) He speaks fluent english and helps you a lot also for other tips in Beijing. I will definitely visit the other sections with him.

We took the "half-day" independent tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Jenny picked us up at our hotel and she was prompt, kind and professional, and her English was great. When we got there she took us right up to the bathrooms, entrance door, told us about the options for getting up and down, and explained where she would meet us in an hour and a half. Gave us about 20 minutes to check out the gift shop and of course, buy a I walked the Wall shirt. My sister had taken a tumble up on the wall but was ok and Jenny was very concerned. She adhered to the times and was a delightful host. Wish we had more time to spend with her too. I would book her for any tour around Beijing next time.

Kevin is excellent. Highly recommended. English was good. Took us to the Wall on Christmas Eve when it was snowing. Very helpful. We weren't that organized. He even arranged for us a private guided tour the next day to Tianamen Square, Forbidden City & Summer Palace. Linda the guide and Mr Wu the driver on that tour was also excellent.

Merci et ce n'est pas un problème, vous pouvez faire la Grande Muraille.Laissez l'hôtel à 6h30, puis arrivez au Mur à 8h00, après deux heures sur le mur, vous serez à l'aéroport vers 11h30.

Hi Gina. We had a packaged tour that included a a visit to the Great Wall. Hotels can offer you info on transportation and luggage storage. Depending upon your hotel location, your timeline for visit to the wall is short. There is a lot of traffic to and from the Wall to contend with.

we would like to book a private tour (our bags must be able to stay in the car) and would then like to visit the following sights:

It does, but there is a gondola lift up and a toboggan ride down that was extra but highly recommend. I can’t remember how much it was exactly but I seem to think it was like $10 US each way.
