We've lived in China for almost 3 years now and have gotten to the Great Wall other ways but once we discovered Irene we will choose her every time and recommend her to friends. Her English is great and her driving is smooth, safe and doesn't make us carsick (unlike most didi or taxi drivers here in China). Her car is spacious and comfortable.
Irene has a permit to drive right up to the entrance of the cable car. This is a huge bonus because otherwise you have to walk through a tourist street and queue for 15-45 minutes to take the shuttle bus up to the cable car entrance. She'll also help you buy your tickets for the wall and cable car so you don't have to wait in line. In the past, we've had other drivers who drop us at the park's main entrance and we had to wait in a longer line for tickets, walk a bit, wait in line for the shuttle bus and take the crowded shuttle bus ride up to the cable car entrance. With Irene, you could save over an hour and the headache figuring it all out.
Also this past time we were fortunate enough to see with Great Wall with SNOW! Irene still got us there safely even though it snowed earlier that morning.

We were lucky because the day was marvelous and the views breathtaking.
The service we received from Irene was outstanding, from the real beginning... Always controling time as we had a traon to take in Beijing south station she made our tour even more enjoyable. When our credit card did not work in the ATM machine and seeing our helpness she even called some friends with a credit card machine to help us...
Irene is a very kind and helpfull person, so, if you ate in Beijing she is the right person to take you around with very reasonable prices... Thanks for making our day memorable Irene...

Irene did a great job of taking us up to the Great Wall of China. Picked us up and dropped us off at our airbnb. Loved that she spoke very good english and was very friendly. Very affordable. Highly recommended 👍🏽.

Buenas!! Ha sido nuestra primera vez en Pekin y hemos contratado los servicios de Mike. Tanto el (como su nujer) son un encanto y nos hicieron de shuttle para el aeropuerto y para ir a la muralla. El dia de la muralla nos dieron botellas de agua y nos ayudaron a comprar las entradas.
Lo contrate por comodidad y agilidad en los traslados ya que no teniamos mucho tiempo y no queria perder tiempo en buscar autobuses y marearme. Y, la verdad que fueron muy puntuales, simpaticos, nos ayudaron en todo y al final cuando nos dejaron en el aeropuerto nos regalaron unos peluches de pandas y unos imanes de la muralla. Todo un detalle!!
Muchisimas gracias por todo y si volvemos en un futuro no dudaremos en volver a contactar con el.
Lo recomiendo totalmente.

We would love to recommend Mike's Tours for anytime you are in Beijing! I originally booked Mike for our 20hour stop over in Beijing to take our family of 6 to the Great Wall. He was so great I booked again for the Forbidden City tour on our way back.
Reliable and communicative service. Clean and spacious van with bottled water (which you really need after walking the Great wall). Great Service and nothing was too much trouble. Mike met us at the airport with a sign. We wanted to have lunch somewhere non-touristy and Mike took us to a fantastic restaurant. If you are travelling with a group this is by far the easiest way to get around. Defiantly will book again for our next trip to Beijing and will recommend to our friends.

I travel for work and did not have much time for a tour while in Beijing. However, seeing the wall was a must. I booked the layover tour the day I was scheduled to fly back home. My pick up was at 7am from my hotel and my return was at 12pm. I schedule the pick up time and location without any issues. Please be advised that you have to contact them to schedule your pick up time and location the day before the tour. Use the number listed and WhatsApp them about the details of your tour. My driver was Irene, she is absouletly amazing. She was very punctual and informative about the history of the city and the wall. Her English is very good so there was no issues communicating. She got my ticket for the open chair lift and slide down the wall. She pointed out our meet up spot for the return ride and we coordinated a time to meet to leave the wall. Everything went smoothly. I will definitely use this service again and will recommend everyone I know to use them. Many of my colleagues already use Mike for the tour I will be sure to tell any new ones about this service. Thank you for a great experience. Irene you are wonderful and such a good sport. She made sure to take my picture on the wall and she took one with me in the chair lift. I really appreciated your hospitality.

Great experience great service from Mike. He took us to the wall and suggested we took cable car up and sledge down. Great tip for saving time. He also has good knowledge about the wall. Thanks for the drive and service you provide us. Also the warmth coat and the souvenirs he gave us. Thanks. Definitely recommended and we will use his service again.
