慕田峪长城就像长城里的天堂，人少景美，主要是金马国旅真的像北京旅游市场里的纯净水，无购物，很值得推荐。导游Cindy燕子，更是一路讲解人文历史，使团更锦上添花

While booking we had thought this was a 9am start, instead it ended up meeting at 7am, just a little earlier than expected, but a blessing in disguise.
Our guide was YoYo, a lovely lady with a lot of knowledge about the Forbidden City. We first spent a little time looking at Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City from the outside. Arriving at the entrance at about 7.45 the queues appeared long but once the entrance opened at 8, we were inside within 10 mins. Being so early and on a tour we truly got to see parts of the city without the overwhelming crowds. There are 80,000 tickets sold daily so being early was perfect!
This was a jaw dropping experience. The sheer size of the courtyards is impressive, and the buildings condition after hundreds of years is astounding. Yoyo was incredible explaining so much as we walked through. We left the tour at this point as the others were continuing onto the Great Wall. We spent a little more time wandering the palaces. As we headed back towards the centre palaces, the crowds were much more present.
An incredible site to see, you definitely need to arrange a tour in peak season as tickets were sold out days in advance, and arriving as the first groups when opening is recommended.
