My wife and I made arrangements with Sunflower Li, after she was introduced to us by friends who highly recommended her. The tour she arranged for us with one of her colleagues, Lima, was the highlight of our trip to Beijing. We saw Tianamen Square, Mao’s mausoleum, the Forbidden City and the Clock Museum. Standing in these places with Lima providing context and historical narrative, we could imagine what it was like there 600 years before in the times of the Emperor. It was a marvelous experience.
Through Sunflower’s company we also had the advantage of skipping some of the entry lines and used the vehicle/driver provided to get to from our hotel. It couldn’t be easier. Lima picked us up in the lobby of the hotel and delivered us back 4 hours later.
We liked the half day tour 4 hour duration. Wasn’t too taxing and still had energy when we got back to hotel. We learned a ton and had fun too. Highly recommend Sunflower tours!
