We had a fantastic tour with Miss Candy. Morning at the Forbidden City, afternoon at the Temple of Heaven.
You can buy an audio tour, but this experience beats that hands down. Candy gave us lots of information and we were able to ask lots of questions about history and modern day living in China.
The pace was perfect and Candy took us to a local restaurant for lunch which made the day so much easier. The whole day was smooth and hassle-free from start to finish.
Absolutely recommended.

A good introduction to Beijing.
Not too much time spent travelling (apart from the hotel pickups, where it was slow if you were the first to be picked up).
Our guide needed encouraging to tell us things and was a little distracted by her phone, but we relaxed into the tour and soaked up the vibes of the city.
There were a couple of stops that had the intention that we would buy things, despite the "no shopping" claim on the web site.

We went to the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Lama Temple with our guide Lucy! She took great care of us and was very professional! Lovely, sweet and warm-hearted! I will recommend this to my friends and family as she organized the perfect day exploring the city! Thank you Lucy, you were great!

We had chosen for 2,5 days tour in Beijing which included the summer palace, forbidden city, temple of heaven, lama temple and of course the Great Wall. We enjoyed ourselves very much - the forbidden city is as majestic as you imagine it to be but a bit crowded. Our absolute highlight was the Simatai Great Wall with Gubei Watertown- it’s beautiful and we were almost the only people there !! (Visited on Wednesday mid May) highly recommend! Thanks to Vincent for his knowledge through our trip ;)

We had a fabulous day out with Candy as our guide. We visited the Summer Palace, The Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City. It was an action-packed day during the busy May holiday - our driver and Candy were brilliant getting us to each destination on time, with plenty of time to see the sights. Some people might prefer to spend longer at each place but it was ideal for my teenage son and me. It was the prefect introduction to Beijing. Candy was friendly and knowledgeable and had excellent English. Given the crowds during the May holiday, we were glad to have such an efficient guide to show us around.

Kevin was an excellent tour guide. He went above and beyond to help us get a good breakfast and get us registered in our hotel rooms. This is in addition to the tour through the forbidden temple.
