Although it's 15 minutes it's plenty time to enjoy the view, and you really get to see alot during that time. Definitely a memorable experience.
I've seen other comments about pilots talking alot, on our trip nothing was said or pointed out.

Did a 15 minute tour of HK - only 3 of us (6 would be a bit cramped) - great views of harbour and surrounds bays / beaches. Great lounge space and environment (with lots of memorabilia) on top of the Peninsula - everyone was super friendly. I little nervous taking off from the roof - but great way to see HK. Would recommend.

We have been to HK on many occasions, but have never taken a helicopter tour. This time however we had the Grandchildren with us aged 6 & 8 years and thought I would be a once in a lifetime experience. We and they were not disappointed. Our 15 minute trip started with a safety briefing, the helicopter then arrived and we took off. The flight, whilst only being 15 minutes long was sufficient to take in the majority of the main sites on Hong Kong Island and the main coastal area of Kowloon. The pilot was very informative Pointing out the landmarks. I would certainly consider doing this activity again, but perhaps book a 30 minute trip next time to take in Lantau Island and the Big Buddha. Highly recommended despite the price tag.

Great experience!
Departure from the rooftop of one of the best / most luxury hotel from Hong Kong.
Staff is friendly and is giving a clear security briefing before departure.
We were a couple but in total 6 people in the helicopter. Not a problem as it is big enough and you agree on the places before taking off.
We had a 12 minute tour and it was really worth it. Didn't feel too short.
We didn't got amazing weather as it was a bit cloudy but still, we could fully enjoy the experience and had a great view on the Hong Kong bay and surroundings.

Would I recommend this to a friend? No. Would I do it knowing what I know now? No.
The helicopter sits 6 people. Only 2 seats are good. I sat on the right side of the helicopter facing backwards. The entire tour was, "out the left side you will see" or "coming up you will see." I really saw nothing the pilot was pointing out. It was like this the entire 15 minutes you are in the air. Basically it is a by counter-clockwise tour so people on the left have a great tour.. everyone else... not so much.
If you are going to to it, arrive early to pick your seats. Remember, pick left side of helicopter.

Group of 11 on business gathering in Hong Kong.
This experience must rate in my all time top ten.
The welcome in the well decorated 'departure lounge' is stylishly decorated in classic airline style, indicated what the day ahead held in store.
Very well run outfit. Smart and professional.
The 30 minute ride gives you views that you can only dream of. Breathtaking.
My team all loved the day.

Spectacular views despite the cloudy day. We flew a full "circuit" of Hong Kong Island and saw parts of the island & coast we would normally not see or visit. Very professionally organised, booking was easy. A short trip (15 minutes) but well worth the price. A great experience in all ways.

The helipad is at the top of the eloquent Peninsula Hotel. On the top floor is a comfortable lounge, with fabulous views of the harbour. We shared the helicopter with two other people, so that meant that each of us had a window seat. The helicopter tour takes you around the whole of Hong Kong island - magnificent! Following the tour, there is an opportunity to take photos next to the helicopter.
It is expensive, but such a unique experience. It would be good if the pilot offered more commentary during the flight, but the sights alone made the experience.

I recently experienced this tour over Hong Kong and was very impressed with the professionalism shown bu ALL the staff, from the welcome through to the actual flight. A great experience all round and a perfect way to see this wonderful city from a different aspect. Travelled from the beautiful Peninsula Hotel in TST over Victoria Harbour, down the length of the coast over Cyberport & Kennedy Town, across the back of the isalnd over Aberdeen & Stanley, back around to the old airport and back again over the CBD, a 15 minute trip in total. Fantastic views all round, and then a photo opp at the end once landed...highly recommend.

A great experience - but only if you are allocated seats 1 or 4. The rest are severely compromised if you want to take in the views of Hong Kong Island. Seats 3 and 6 really only get a decent view over small outlying islands and shipping as the helicopter travels in one direction only. How do you get the best seats? If you are a guest at The Peninsula you certainly have the inside running - I had no chance. (In fact on my flight, the best seats were taken by one couple as they had first choice, being Peninsula guests.)
Hard to recomend.
