Needed to book the trip in order to see if they pick up at hotel. Booked on a Sunday for that next Wednesday at 0900. Attempted to cancel Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Tour never showed up in “my trips” and therefor wasn’t able to cancel. Once Wednesday morning came along, the tour guide never showed at the hotel. Had the hotel call them. Tour guide claimed the trip didn’t show in his inbox until 0600 that morning. He said he could be there soon to get us. We were on a tight schedule anyway and I told him I was trying to cancel anyway and just don’t bother coming over to the hotel since he was already 30 minutes late. Still fighting for a refund.

Hello Adam, im so sorry about this case. Your reservation has been cansel by system of viator. Your reservation is suddenly booking in the early morning and we have suggestion to you about change the time to 12 afternoon but you didnt agree, so for canselation is under website of viator. we are only tour operator (third party) so the viator/system have responsiblity about the reservation and for refund also. Im so sorry about your case. Please dont hesitated to contact us by whatsapp information. Thank you - Manager of tour

A great 5 hour tour of a few key sites around Jakarta. Agus’s spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about Jakarta’s history both recent and the past. It is hard in just 5 hours to see a large city, but Agus did great job giving me a flavour of what the city holds. I can highly recommend.

After arriving at the airport, we had to wait for an hour at the airport train station due to a bad connection, and we were about 15 minutes late for the meeting time of the private tour.
But the tour guide welcomed us very pleasantly and said, "Don't worry about it.
The tour was very fulfilling, and the guide was very enjoyable.
He even honored our request to stop at Cafe Batavia for coffee, which we wanted to do, and we had the best memories ever!

Chinatown und das National Museum waren sehr schön, viel gelernt über die Kultur. Sehr guter Guide und Fahrer. Ich habe mich als alleinreisende Frau sehr sicher gefühlt bei den Beiden. Der Lunch war sehr lecker.

My Favorit part was the Chinatown and the national Museum. I have learned a lot in the Museum and the guide explained a lot from the Indonesian culture.

I booked a half day excursion (5 hours) to the Old City (Batavia). I was picked up at 13.00. We first went to the National Museum although I mentioned I had been there two days previous. Then to Chinatown. Then to the Old City. And shown to a puppet show. There seemed to be quite a bit of walking round the old city. I was not prepared for that. Then to the port. Why? Then on the way from the port I was told we were going for lunch (lunch? It was 17.30!) then to the market and I would be back around 19.00. I booked a 5 hour excursion and was going to get back at least an hour late. I just wanted to go the the Old City. I wanted Indonesian lunch, but not at 17.30 when I had arranged dinner for 20.00. I know traffic is bad but I don’t think this excursion is well thought out. If it’s to the Old City, then it should be the Old City. Might have been nice to have a coffee in the Batavia Cafe. Next time I’ll take a Grab car to the Batavia Cafe and wander around on my own at my own pace.

the first we would like to appologize and thank you for your review. the guide was explained about program in detail and asking to you for having lunch before but you choose for do the tour first. The guide knew that you wouldn't see museum because just visit the day before by your self, but he tried to make the program good getting all destination. we wish for the future to be better. thank you

Had a great time with Pak Agus the guide. The driver was also great. Took their private tour beginning of December. The guide really know his stuff and able to speak English very well. You can let him know which part of the itinerary you want more time on and which one to omit and he is able to accommodate but do be reasonable . Love the experience. If ever I want to travel around Jakarta , I will definitely get their service.

Fascinating tour. We had a delayed start because I had booked at midnight for a 9am tour, but although the computer had confirmed, the company were only alerted about the time we were expecting to be picked up. They let us know that we would have a delayed start which was not a problem. Because of the traffic our driver Okra (apologies if the spelling is wrong) picked us up and delivered us to our guide Ms Nety at the museum. He was able to chat in very good English and essentially start the tour. We had a full tour of the museum and learn a lot about the history and culture of Indonesia. We saw a rounded version of Jakarta on the tour, from the most modern to the most basic and finished with a greater understanding of where we were. We particularly enjoyed the traditional puppets and seeing the skills required. The Chinatown market was a real experience and makes one appreciate how lucky we are in our lives. In the end the traffic was so congested that we asked to miss off visiting the mosque and cathedral, which was a shame but we had seen so much that we were ready to get back to our hotel and reduce further car journeys. I recommend the tour, but be prepared for a lot of time in the car going between the different parts.
