The itinerary was well organized such that the places were situated near were group together. My guide, Gabriella was very conversant on the history and culture of Jakarta and made me appreciate its history and people. The food was a great glimpse of the complex cuisine of the Javanese people. Both Driver Lanto and Gabrielle were very helpful and accommodating. Great experience!

The tour guide, Gabriella was fantastic. Our private trip included all the things in the itinerary- religious to heritage- from puppets to architectural details. We took long time at each place and she made sure that she does not hurry us. She had good communication skills in English and was aware of many details, small back stories, chronological understanding, cultural languages of each site. She was also very patient and easy about time. From Glodok China town to Vihara Dharma Bhakti temple, the wayang Kulit workshop and performance, the old port, national museums square and the beautiful, authentic lunch at Simpang Raya (she took care of authentic vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian!) the mosque and Cathedral, everything was very well planned. Thank you Viator for managing the logistics also very well. 👌🏾 special thanks to both the guide and the driver! 👌🏾👌🏾🫡🫡

I booked this tour to see authentic Jakarta and its history. We learned so much from the guide in only 5hrs. It was a super fun experience. Highly recommend it to first time jakarta travelers.

Abe & Heryanto were our friendly and gracious hosts on 8.9.2023. We decided where to go and took the back seats. They led us skillfully through the Glodok Market, Kota Tua, Cafe Batavia & Muara Baru Fish Market. Along the way, we talked, laughed together and had a good time. Abe is young but his English is admirable. He understood our needs and allowed us to enjoy his city at our pace. Well done.

During our visit we had the pleasure on having Steven as our tour guide. He’s the most active, attentive , and flexible tour guide that I’ve ever met. During our travels, it is quite apparent that Steven is excited and delighted to show us the hidden gems in Jakarta. Never have i thought that some places could be hidden from the public eye.yet because of steven’s eagerness we manage to experience some things that the locals have yet to do. The food and the warm demeanor that he provided us also makes us feel welcomed and delighted. So far 10/10 experience and would recommend steven for your tour guide

The private city tour was an absolute delight! Our driver was not only a skilled navigator but also an excellent storyteller, sharing fascinating facts about Jakarta's history and culture. The lunch selection was vast, and we couldn't resist trying a bit of everything. This tour was worth it by all means, and we highly recommend it!

I had the pleasure of having Steven as our tour guide during our private Jakarta city tour, and I must say, he truly made the experience unforgettable. He navigated us through the bustling streets of Jakarta with ease, ensuring we had ample time at each destination.
Moreover, Steven's recommendations for the traditional Padang lunch were spot-on. The array of dishes he helped us select provided a delightful journey through Indonesian flavors, and we couldn't get enough of them. His passion for the local cuisine and culture was evident throughout the tour.
What stood out the most was Steven's attentiveness to our needs and preferences. He was always ready to answer our questions and accommodated any special requests we had, making the tour feel personalized and tailored to our interests.
