Toller Ausflug, tolle Gegend
Unsere Fahrerin und Führerin waren sehr nett und haben uns eine Menge gezeigt. Da die geplante Anfahrt zum Vulkan sich aufgrund des Wetters nicht gelohnt hatte, hat man spontan umgeplant und sich so Zeit für andere Sachen genommen. Alles passiere in Abstimmung und Rücksprache mit uns!

Absolut nette Führerin, die für ihre 19 Jahre über viele Informationen verfügte, sehr kommunikativ war und immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen hatte. Die Fahrerin war sehr positiv, vorsichtig und umsichtig. Tour war gut geplant.

The tour guide, Carlos, is great. He is knowledgeable and friendly and gave us great and enjoyable tour. I am giving a low review rating not because of the tour itself, which is a great tour, but because the local operator (Top Private Tours) said my booking does not include driving up to Osorno volcano. In the Overview section and What to Expect section of the tour, it clearly states that driving up to Osorno volcano is part of the tour. Top Private Tour wanted to charge me US$100 to drive up Osorno volcano. I wanted to go up there so I paid $100, in addition to the already expensive tour charge. It seems there is communication breakdown between Viator and the local tour operator. When I first met my tour guide, he doesn't seem to know what the tour is about. I had to show him my itinerary from the Viator tour page. This is just not a well-organized tour.

Great driver and guide. Brought us to everything promised and avoided the congestion by sequencing our visit. Great commentary and info throughout. Simply gorgeous views of lakes, volcanos and falls. The pictures, of course, don’t do justice to the in-person views.

Our guide from top private tours met us at the port in Puerto Montt. Highlight of the day was our visit to a park with fantastic views of the volcano. Vehicle is comfortable. Guide was knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with. Checked out some llamas and alpacas at a stop along the way. Puerto Varas Had a different view of the volcano from across the lake. A few shops with some interesting handicrafts.

We were on a cruise ship. The tour and guide were fabulous. William was very knowledgeable, kind and respectful. I highly recommend this guide and tour.

This private tour was run through Top Private Tours. Found on Trip Adviser web site. Message from tour group said they would meet us at disembarkation location with a sign with our names. There was a small welcome area just beyond security where ALL of the tour companies EXCEPT ours were standing with signs. We waited 30 minutes then called the number indicated for last minute communications with the tour group—a standard practice for Trip Advisor connected companies. We were connected with an individual in Uruguay! Mind you, we were in Chile! I got the feeling we had awakened the man who answered. He assured us that he was aware of our booking and that the guide would be there any minute. We walked the entire welcome area and my husband walked the entire parking lot over the next 30 minutes. No one. We called the Uruguay number again and the guy insisted our guide was there waiting for us. We watched and waited another 10 minutes and then went back to our ship, called our credit card company and filed a dispute to get our money back. I will say that this is the first time we’ve had such an experience going through Trip Advisor.

Dear Lorraine, your tourguide waited for you since 8 AM at the Cruise Terminal, like all the other private tours. As you can see all our qualifications are 5 starts and all the other passengers found our tourguide at Puerto Montt.
Anyway you don´t have to filed a dispute to get your payment back, you only have to ask a refund at Viator and that´s all.

Très satisfaite de l’excursion avec Trip to Chile. Le guide, Javier, nous a fourni une foule d’informations. La visite au volcan Osorno était spécialement impressionnante et le panorama spectaculaire. Une journée en tous points réussie.

Wer kennt das nicht? Man hat einen Tag zur Verfügung um eine Region kennen zu lernen und möchte soviel als möglich davon sehen. Unser privater Fremdenfüherer, Wilhelm, hat diese Aufgabe mit Bravour gemeistert. Pünktlich vom Schiff abgeholt und die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in umgekehrten Reihenfolge der Busse unserer mitreisenden Schiffsgäste angefahren. Damit hatten wir die Möglichkeit die Landschaft und die Gastfreundschaft der Chilenen in aller Ruhe zu geniessen.Mit dem Basiswissen der deutschen Sprache und weitergehenden Englichkenntnissen war auch die Verständigung perfekt.
