A agência cancelou por duas vezes alegando condições climáticas, o que não era verdade. O que descobri é que o passeio não vale a pena, exceto se for para conhecer a famosa estrada que leva do Chile à Argentina, e provavelmente eles não tinham público para fazerem. No local, um resort com tudo fechado e único lugar para comer (e logicamente mais caro). A gente apenas contempla a lagoa ao fundo, tira fotos e vai embora. Como tive que contratar outro motorista que não conhecia, resolvemos ir até a divisa e como resultado ficamos presos por uma hora na imigração. Se quiser ver e curtir neve, procure Farellones e Vale nevado que é muito mais aberto, tem opções de comida e a aventura da subida de carro é muito mais radical.

Unfortunately I could not take the tour to share because the weather conditions closed the accesses, the tour was replaced by vina del mar and valparaiso, it was not a tour that I had a lot of interest, however the Guide / driver was quite nice and friendly and guided us well along the tour.

MENTIROSE COMPANY. Except for a bad service with semi-automatic and time-consuming messages. The company canceled my tour the night before saying the venue was closed due to weather conditions. When I entered the site of Sky Portillo I saw that all routes were open and the weather was excellent, so I made the same ride with another company which said it would be normal. On the day of the tour, not only this new company but another 20 were in portillo doing the work normally.. If I had fallen into the history of this agency I would have missed an incredible experience. I was offered to switch to a tour somewhere else, which I was not interested in.

Our tour to Portillo was cancelled the previous afternoon, with the argument of unavailability, but we had bought in May 2024. Surface answers by whatsapp to dispense you, do not answer the phone and there is no physical store.

The company canceled our 23h tour the night before because they did not make an exchange they themselves requested!!! They did not even question to remarket our tour! We booked and paid the tour on May/24, and the company canceled 12 hours before, so we couldn’t even make the tour! Besides, they did not answer the messages asking for help!

We did not do this tour, the agency canceled the tour for three days, they said it was closed, so not to lose the money we went to Valparaíso and vina del mar, but I did not like it very much, it was not that we really wanted to do, but I understand that the weather interferes and that the agency is not to blame, I just think that in these cases, it should be possible to have the choice of chargeback money.

We recommend the experience of this tour! Me and my wife went along with a group of about 6 more tourists in a van driven by the friendly driver Pablo.
In fact, a big difference besides the good mood, was his great historical knowledge shared during the journey, which fueled even more our curiosity to know more about the local culture and about Chile!
Portillo is a snow park that is also open (free of charge) for those who do not want to ski, it is a great option for those who want to venture with the family, take lots of photos, enjoy mountainous landscapes with ice, rocks and nature.
Tip: If you are well packed, there is no need to buy all the waterproof parts. In our case, we already bought in Brazil waterproof boots and cold clothes (first skin), so we only need to rent waterproof pants and 1 glasses, it was enough.
Quiet route, pleasant day and everything went well both on the way and back.
We really liked!!!

The MTO agency rather disorganized, we were cancelled without reason the day before and then told that the tour was done. Then they complied with everything stipulated.
The tour itself is very good, all the stops indicated were made and the times were very well set. We highlight the work of driver and guide Pablo who did his job very well and the most enjoyable walk.

Se supone que sí. Tienes 2 opciones: arreglar directamente con la agencia o hacer la compra separada según la ubicación. El cargo es por persona y no tiene efecto esto. Además sacan una camioneta x día entre 8 y 12 personas. Eso sí, siempre que los hospedajes estén en las zonas clásicas de pick up

Se para a la ida en lugar para desayuno y alquiler de ropa para nieve, zapatos, camperas, pantalones cortavientos, guantes gorros etc. El precio es accesible y la ropa es necesaria solo en días fríos o con mucho viento...
