We had the perfect host for a lovely day exploring Valparaíso and some wineries. Mauricio has a wealth of knowledge about the region and all-around Chilean history - so soak it up! He promptly picked us up at our hotel per communication the night before on WhatsApp and selected a lovely winery as a first stop (3 different wine tastings plus a cheese, oil, bread, etc. board to share). Then we went off to all the beautiful spots in Valparaiso, which we would never have been able to do on our own with the insanity of their steep, narrow roads and difficulty parking. Received a delicious lunch recommendation. We finally stopped at a second winery (one bottle to share - this winery specializes in sparking wine) before returning to Santiago. We never felt rushed, even when an extra wine tasting was purchased by another individual joining our table tasting or we could not decide on an art piece. Highly recommend to see the best of a lovely coastal City and the Casablanca wine region!

Our guide was superb. Mauricio was incredibly knowledgeable which made the day so interesting and he tailored our tour to our requests which we appreciated and made the experience perfect in every way.

During our recent trip to Chile, we used services of Central Valley Tours for private sightseeing tour of Santiago and Valparaiso. Mauricio and his associate Francisco were excellent. We had great time touring with them. Mauricio is very prompt in responding to any email inquiries I made about our trip. He also eased my worries about recent turmoil in Santiago.
I would highly recommend this company without any reservation.
