E-bike or no e-bike best tour guide in Ecuador

Without doubt one of our favorite trips!.

The morning after we arrived we were warmly welcomed by, Jose, and Pablo, who picked us up at our hotel. We were welcomed with such a friendly atmosphere and we had a fantastic start! Jose was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had two great days together which obviously also added up to our great experience.

Jose is such a warm personality and a highly motivated and knowledgable guide (recommendable!). We truly enjoyed learning and listening about the country and the different areas we drove through. The scenery was beautiful and the e-bikes and guide were so prepared for the climate and our safety during our ride in Antisana. Jose lent us gloves, jackets and a back up van when we needed to rest from the challenges of the elevation. He was so accommodating The tour continued with a stop at a local restaurant, which was a very authentic and delicious Ecuadorian meal.

The atmosphere was so special that it really felt like we were guests at a family home. All our expectations and gratitude for Jose,who does a great job ; is a true example of an excellent tour guide and leader for anyone who is looking for adventure and excitement.

Many thanks again and we recommend Jose and e-bike Ecuador for biking or just touring to everyone!

Great e biking experience in Quito & Cotopaxi!

E biking with Jose Luis is a must do in Quito if you have any aptitude for biking. The e bikes are supper high quality from Europe and Jose Luis is an expert guide with a passion for his city and country. We loved touring around the city with him. On an e bike you cover tons of ground and he can customize the tour biased on what you’d like to see. Felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend this experience. We also did e biking in Cotopaxi national park which was totally different but equally as good.

The best way to explore Quito!

What a perfect way to explore a new city! I convinced my friends to join me on this tour on our first day in Quito. Even though some of them are not big into biking and are not that athletic, everyone loved it! The e-bikes are great quality and they make it easy for everyone to keep up no matter their level of fitness. We were lucky enough to have 2 tour guides, Jose and Andres, and they both shared some really interesting and unique perspectives on their city with all of us. For a group of people who knew almost nothing about Quito this was a great way to get our bearings. After biking through several different neighborhoods and parts of the city, Jose took us to a market where we had a beer, tried some amazing fruits we had never heard of before, and shared a traditional Ecuadorian lunch. The tour started and ended at our hotel which was so convenient! I highly recommend this tour especially if you are a first time visitor of Quito!

Great day with a GREAT guide!

We just returned from a two week vacation in Quito and the Galápagos Islands. We did a private city tour before the islands and this E-Bike tour afterwards. This E-Bike tour of Quito was a highlight! Jose was so much fun, not only to us but to everyone we met along the way. The E-Bike were great on the hills and handled great in the traffic. And we weren't stuck in traffic! He took us to several different neighborhoods! It was a great way to see and tour the city along with a local stop for refreshments. It was a great day and we would highly recommend if you can ride a bike!

Jose was the best thing about this tour! He was reliable, extremely knowledgeable about everything in his country, lots of fun, and just an all-around nice guy. We were expecting a half day tour, but it turned into 7 hours, because there was so much to show us and teach us. His detailed knowledge was

Quito by E-bike

My wife and I came to Ecuador to climb the many high volcanoes. As a part of our tour we spent our first day learning about the amazing city of Quito and also Ecuador with our extremely knowledgeable guide Jośe—Luis. We were able to see so many places throughout the city on the very easy to navigate e-bikes. We really appreciated the assist up the many hills of Quito. If we were walking or riding regular bikes, we would not have been able to see as much. Jośe brought the culture and history of Quito alive, we loved how he helped us interact with locals and that he took us off the normal tourist track. Don’t miss out on this great tour!!! ¡Hasta luego!

Comprehensive Quito in half a day

Jose Luis was very accommodating to our slight altitude sickness, even though we were in Quito more than 36 hours! The eBikes are high quality and he made certain we were comfortable with operation. He was knowledgeable about Quito & Ecuador history, culture and all environmental issues. In addition to the architectural sights we visited we stopped at parks and learned about the geography and points of interest. Highlights included a visit to artisanal chocolate tasting, ecological exhibit of endangered frogs of Amazon jungle and Panama hat weaving exhibit (and shopping we requested). He recommended a tasty, clean and great place for lunch. Highly recommended activity!

Amazing day cycling around Quito

We spent over 6 hours with Jose Luis on our e-bike tour of Quito. We are seasoned cyclists but opted for an e-bike tour which we knew would allow us to cover a far greater area and far greater heights in the elevated and mountainous amazing city of Quito. By simple good fortune we booked our tour for a Sunday which we learned is a day of cycling in the city of Quito. Most of the streets within the center are closed to vehicular traffic for the day (until 4 pm) so we were able to ride the length of the city including a climb to the Virgin of the Panecillo statue overlooking the city below. Jose Luis was very knowledgeable of the history of the city of Quito and the country of Ecuador and made the tour exciting and enlightening. We enjoyed Jose Luis’ company so much we even invited him to join us for a delicious early dinner at a great restaurant that he knew of. Simply put, in our opinion, the value received from Jose Luis’ tour, including fantastic 1 minute video of our day’s highlights, was incomparable to any tour we have done throughout the world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

EBikEcuador- ebike tours Ecuador- Jose Luis… the best thing in Quito- You Have To Experience It!!

Ecuador ebikes and Jose Luis are a MUST for any visit to Quito. The electric bikes make getting around easy for any fitness level. It’s wonderful to be in the fresh air and see the sights, smells and interactions you wouldn’t get from a car or tour bus. Quito is extremely cyclist friendly and with Jose leading the tour we felt safe and looked after.

Jose is an incredible guide with amazing knowledge and enthusiasm for his country and city. We spent a lot of time laughing at the banter and interactions with people on the street, we never would have met had it not been for Jose’s personality and spirit.

Quito is a vibrant, diverse city and the ebike tour let us experience it first hand. It was wonderful to see both the Old and New Town and eat with the locals.

Ecuadorean’s are a lovely, open, friendly people. We had an amazing time with incredible food and have felt welcomed and safe everywhere we have been.
