Visitar Chordeleg y Gualaceo es trasladarse a un lugar lleno de historia y riqueza cultural. En Chordeleg las artesanías y las joyas en plata y oro es realmente digno de admirar por el talento artesanal que demuestra. Luego pasar por Gualaceo y visitar la casa museo de la macana ( en la localidad de San Pedro de los Olivos )donde se ve el proceso completamente artesanal para elaborar las ancestrales macanas usadas por las mujeres del lugar y muy apetecidas por las visitantes por sus pintorescos colores y diseños. Vale la pena visitar esta joya artesanal en el sur del Ecuador muy cercano a la hermosa ciudad de Cuenca.

What a great time we had! Our guide, Estéban was well-versed in all the local culture. We had a very immersive experience with him. His sense of humor and his command of the English language made our time with him extra special. He was able to communicate our preferences precisely to the local craftsmen, which resulted in our leaving the various shops completely satisfied with our purchases. Thank you for a rare glimpse of the centuries-old traditions and arts of the rich Ecuadorian culture and the beauteous countryside!

I been travel occasionally to Cuenca for few years and passing by this couple of villages before without stopping to see what they offer.
Finally this trip I booked a trip into this places and was a great experience to see on firsthand how artesian make their Kraft products.
Very interesting and colorful.

We had a wonderful afternoon (2-6pm) with our tour guide Estaban. Three of us in a comfortable car, seeing all the sites in Gualaceo and Chordeleg. Highly recommend this guide.

Esteban was very fluent in English. He was knowledgeable of the areas visited and the local people. He made the tour interesting and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend making the tour with Esteban.
